Heh, Death Note is starting with a handicap right outta the door too which is a shame if your gonna be watching in on CN (think their getting the rights for it way before DvD release too). Most people are gonna be pissed off that its on instead of Bleach (which was like 3 episodes away from the clim...

I believe we've had this subbed vs. dubbed dialogue before. not so much that. it isn't subbed vs dubbed. it's edited vs uncut. dvd's often have an english option but that doesn't change what goes on onscreen. Yeah. While I understand that Japan and America have quite different ideas of what needs t...

Heh some people cant understand that some rather not have to read their TV :P losing that extra dimension (Spoken Words) is a big hit. They act like admitting that will cause the Anime police to brake down their door and revoke their special Elite Anime Enthusiast ID Card. And we all know without th...

Kiz keeps bugging me to check out the newer Dr. Who. Just haven't had a chance. I loved the show when I was a little tyke back in the early-mid 80s. Good stuff! Oh the new one is excellent, you gotta see it. Sci-Fi channel just has the US rights to air it though, its still made in england and aired...

Hehe Painkiller Jain has been canceled too so you don't gotta worry about that next season, and id bet money Flash Gordon wont be renewed either. Its like they wont renew anything unless its gonna be the next Stargate, like their trying to fill the void and wont let anything else have a chance till ...

if they placed the show on the 7:00 or even better a 10:00 or 11:00 time slot on Friday its ratings wouldda been much higher. Well, to be fair Sci-Fi already had a pretty strong Friday lineup with the Stargate series (are there still two of them?) and Doctor Who. And besides who watches TV on a Fri...

Hey guys, when is the new season of Firefly coming out?? :D Okay, that was obnoxious. Sorry. It really does suck when a show is cancelled after just one season, especially if there is an ongoing story. It sucks when any show is cancelled before the story is complete actually... I miss Farscape :cry...

Re: Dresden Files

Just found out Sci Fi Channel canceled it, I think i just died a bit :/ Um... they cancelled it a pretty long while back. I mean a long while. If you liked the series, though, then I recommend the novels; I'm already a huge fan of it. I'm on book four at the moment (there are 8 or 9 right now, and ...

Hmm... I dug Inuyasha initially, but after a while it just got way too repetative for my tastes. And not sure if you have seen the ending, so I wont ruin it, but that was just aggravating... Only seen what cartoon network has aired of that series, any idea if they have gotten to the end yet? Im pre...

Thanks guys, did a bit of my own research, and it seems the best, and surprisingly cheapest way is to buy good condition used CD's from eBay/amazon.com and rip them on my Linux box (top quality 320 bitrate mp3's :D) Most those services charge like $1 a song, or $9 for an album, and thats with DMR pr...

Music Subscription Services & Anime/Game music

Anyone know of any music subscription services that have any Anime/Game music on them? (You know, the types of services where you can DL DRM modded files for free as long as you have the subscription, or pay like 99 cents for a non DRM normal MP3 file)

Christian Bale was awesome in it, I mean hell, he was the guy who did Equilibrium, and that was one of the best movies ever.

If I had to guess, the Blue hair thing just seems to be some sort of way of singling out one of the main/special characters in a game/anime.

Yeah he is, I love that show! :D Fumoffu is really good too, it's so hilarious, but I haven't seen Second Raid yet. I hope it's just as good as the first season. Go get The Second Raid, Now! :P Very very good. Bordering better then the first. Only downfall is its like 13-14 episodes instead of like...

Ahh very cool, thank you. I seriously doubt they would of let it go to public domain then, so if id have to guess, Vic owns it or it (if both parties wanted) was sold to gamearts for them if they wanted, to release in America/Europe since they hold the rights to distribute it again (whither they wou...

I dunno, maybe if its a re release like you said, but if its for the PSP or any newer system, I can only see it getting worse, instead of better :/ They would need to change the entire sprite based world to 3d (or a new sprite based world) also to be able to break out of the 30% changed/upgraded req...

I entirely disagree; I'd be happy with no voice acting at all, and I loved the sprite scenes in Lunar Legend. In a way, animated scenes seem to be taking the easy way out, instead of making detailed sprites expressive. I do wish the music quality had been decent in Legend, though. True, Chrono Trig...

Cut scenes don't add anywhere near as much as you may think. Besides which, releasing it for the PSP would've severely limited its potential audience (something like one-fourth of the DS audience). The problems with Lunar: DS had nothing to do with the hardware. It was entirely how it was fleshed o...
