One word counterpoint:

(I like that Brave Axe though.)

Re: Activism, Social Justice, Protests and you: The Political Discussion Containment Thread

Both Jenner's list and Kizyr's link have good, practical advice for being involved in the political process. I think they hold true no matter the issue and no matter your larger political affiliations. Voting matters, but it's just a start. At least in the US, representatives have to take communicat...

NOBODY LIKES FISHING MINIGAMES! Also I don't think it's been 15 years yet. We got another 3 years to go if that's the case. ...that and it sounds an awful lot like the "delete this ROM after 24 hours" stuff back in the 90s... or 00s... ...n/m pretty sure people still say that now. KF I'm ...

I think it's possible to think of Ghaleon as the main villain in Scott Pilgrim vs. The World.

A short collection of contradictions, briefly commented. Here. This will be my last post. <makes another post> -- But, this pathetic forum is so horrendously stuck in liberalism and feel-good rationalizations that of course it did. You're being very bossy, and unaccepting of others, all the w...

I've used this timeline builder before for websites. It was pretty easy to use. I'm not sure how the Webster Hall History timeline was built.

Re: Nintendo Switch console revealed!

? What did you not understand about it other than the fact that it has low specs that obviously wouldnt have competed even in 2012 as a home console? (because it's basically a WiiU just a few thin hairs slightly better, and that wasn't enough in 2012) That's a misleading query. On the one hand, you ...

Re: Nintendo Switch console revealed!

I don't understand why they would replace the 3DS in secret. Like, that would be sacrificing longer-term trust for a very short-term gain.

Re: What to update?

I voted for 2 and 3. They seem particularly content-focused, and the kinds of materials that are more difficult to obtain. 1 is interesting to me but a bit lower priority because a timeline is already up, and fandom works seem like they'd be even more work, since there's 10+ years of cosplay to pull...

Alex, if you want to start the Instagram and get other people here involved, I'd be happy to get the post stickied and stuff like that. I'd say you could make it independent and your own, even, with the support of whoever wants to participate.

Re: Input lag with an EverDrive?

I can't say for sure, but I suspect the lag would be inconsequential. I use a RetroPie installation on a Raspberry Pi for playing my old games. It uses flash memory via a microSD card; I've never noticed latency issues.

Re: Women's March on Washington.

I'm done with this conversation. I shouldn't have even participated in a conversation predominately dominated by liberals in the first place. I think that your assuming the issue is that you're talking to liberals is a big issue here that avoids addressing how condescending you were to people who d...

Re: Back again guys!

^ I enjoyed FF8 at the time of release, and again when I played a year or two ago. I always felt like the world was pretty interesting, and I liked the characters well enough. Also, I was happiest with its battle system out of the PS Final Fantasy games, since one could easily play without ever worr...

Re: Women's March on Washington.

^ It seems contrary to ask at once that political discussions are banned and then to offer your own political perspective. I think we're capable of having great political discussions while respecting one another. That's what I've been trying to do throughout. I've thought a lot about issues like abo...

I've tried searching for them in the past, but I've never found it for SSSC. (I think I found them for TSS and EB.)

I got as far as finding a few possible tools for doing the dump myself, but I got swamped with work at that time and didn't continue. Here it is: https://github.com/cebix/psximager

I didn't make it personal at all, I'm just on the other side of the debate You made it personal: I never said any such thing as she should not have been born. Certainly not. I said her parents weren't responsible. If she grew up afraid to change while locked in a bad system, clearly they were defic...
