Re: Lunar fan from old-time

Interesting story. I would like to own the Sega CD version of Lunar one day. I've always had SSSC on PlayStation. The day I actually buy a Sega CD, though, Lunar will be my first game.

What did you like about the GameCube?

I saw this thread on another forum and thought it was interesting since the GameCube certainly isn't many people's favorite console, nor is it mine. But let's talk about what we did like about it. I'll start: There's a lot I like about the GameCube. To this day, the controller is still one of my all...

Re: Frustrated with retro gaming prices....especially regarding the Sega Saturn

Secondly, buying games one at a time and reselling them on Ebay does sound like a good idea for most people, but I'm also a collector. I pride myself in owning my games themselves, not just the game systems. Not to mention, I feel like it would be too much trouble to go through to turn around and r...

Can't blame you for that. Zestiria had one of the most dull cast of characters in the history of the franchise.

Re: Frustrated with retro gaming prices....especially regarding the Sega Saturn

I've never really played any videogames via emulation, so I don't know much about it. Although, over the years, I've heard people say the Saturn is hard or sometimes impossible to emulate... so perhaps that, combined with the fact that the system didn't sell well and thus many games had low print ru...

Re: When do you need to take breaks from games?

I generally play videogames every day, but these days I hardly ever stick to one game at a time. It takes me a little longer to beat games but I also never get burnt out on any one game to where I feel like I need a break from it. Yesterday I was replaying Tales of Vesperia. Today I'll probably put ...

Re: What Are You Currently Playing?

I finally got Zelda: BotW and have been playing it non-stop. Absolutely love it. I don't have a Switch yet so I'm kicking it on the WiiU but I don't think there's much difference.

Re: Final Fantasy XV

I've been enjoying the game quite a bit. I'm only at chapter 3 due to putting a lot of time into the sidequests. I think I have around 25 hours in. Definitely ready to progress with the story at this point and take a break from the sidequests.

Re: Ys?

Ys might be in my top 5 favorite video game franchises. My first Ys game was Book I & II that came with the Turbo Duo. It's hard to decide whether Oath in Felghana or Seven is my favorite. I actually enjoyed Memories of Celceta a lot as well. Definitely looking forward to Lacrimosa of DANA. It'l...

Re: Pokemon GO!

I gave the game a shot because I enjoy the regular Pokemon games and even the spin-offs like Mystery Dungeon, Pokken Tournament, Colosseum, Gale of Darkness, etc., but I don't get the appeal of Pokemon Go at all.

I didn't get into Lunar until SSSC for PSX, so it has been about 17 years for me. Doesn't seem like anywhere near that long, though.

I need to get around to watching that.

Last anime I watched, or should I say that I am currently watching, is The Seven Deadly Sins. It's a very funny, lighthearted and charming show that I'm thoroughly enjoying.
