Re: An anomaly in the Lunar series

Judging by that (I heard something similar but forget where) Shigema reminds me of George Lucas now. And I'm not a Lucas basher (SWIII was on par with IV-VI IMO, I-II not so much, though they were not the atrocities some fans made them out to be) but I wasn't a fan of him constantly editing the ori...

Re: An anomaly in the Lunar series

Some of this may have been unintentional! Shigema's often said that SSS is what he wanted TSS to be, if he had fewer constraints -- either technically (from limitations of the Sega CD or development time) or in terms of scale of the story. Thing is, though, constraints often can breed a lot of creat...

Re: Hello, from a long-time fan!

Welcome to the boards! Glad you've joined!

Unfortunately because of the state of the series, there's not a lot *new* going on per se (in terms of new games anyhow), but still plenty to talk about. And, well, fan creations never stop coming.

Hope you enjoy staying around =). KF

We also got most (if not all?) of these scans also on LunarNET's artbook page, with translations of the captions:

Ok, I can confirm that it's an iOS/Android difference.

Thanks for raising the issue. Hopefully we can try to handle this with a future update. KF

Re: Request Desktop Site

Say, I just tried thiz using Firefox on Android, and Request Desktop is working fine. What browser/os are you using?

(This could be good or bad. If it's a browser compatibility thing, that means it's not an option we can just check off, but might be something addressed in a recent update.) KF

lol yeah, she was kind of annoying in english too, i remember i had to turn the volume down when she spoke BTW Leo`s voice in japanese RULES! Ruby is one case where I think the English voice and written dialog are an improvement over the Japanese version. They toned down some things that made her i...

Re: Lunar Genesis Strategy Guide Get!

I... just really want to ask folks to try and remain civil, and find respectful ways to comment on the Lunar games, fan creations, and opinions thereof. I think the core content of the discussion in this thread is good and worthwhile, so I really want to avoid having to start moderating. Thanks. KF

Re: Lunar fan game...

I know you're already down the path of using RPG Maker, but... what's the feasibility of a ROM hack in this case? There're some pretty famous ones for other games (like the Earthbound Halloween one that Toby Fox did, and of course all the Mario/Zelda/Metroid ones out there), but I don't know how fea...

I can't remember who the surprise baby was, but it was one of the longer-time-but-less-frequent posters on the boards... Don't have the energy to go hunt for the post though. (It wasn't Sonic# though! He let us know!) KF

Re: Request Desktop Site

I agree (though some of these features might be in a more recent version of phpBB than what we're using right now). Right now we're trying to figure out some larger site management questions, but one thing I really want to get better about is board maintenance. I'll see if we can figure this out -- ...

Slayers surprisingly (and much to my joy) holds up great 20 years later! I have the box set for Slayers, Slayers Next, and Slayers Try. Need to set aside some time to watch/re-watch them soon.... KF

Heeeyyyy! Yeah I remember! There's been a lot that's happened in the last decade... Wow... Yeah... Lots more people married also. Jenner and I are the only ones married to one another, but yeah most folks are married (and some didn't tell us 'til like months later!). And some have kids (and also did...

I don't want to discuss the "what ifs" and "coulds" though...I want to discuss what we already have available. The facts and what makes canon with those facts. We could discuss "what ifs" and coulds" all day lmao! We are the most popular LUNAR fans out there! :P Y...

Re: Activism, Social Justice, Protests and you: The Political Discussion Containment Thread

Just a bit of an addendum... I know the folks who interrupted DHS Secretary Nielsen's dinner last night in DC. Since that direct protest, folks have contacted us saying there's renewed energy among existing protests/demonstrations at ICE detention facilities and other places/companies that aid in de...

Re: Activism, Social Justice, Protests and you: The Political Discussion Containment Thread

Yeah things are getting dire... I've been saying before that the lies and generalizations about groups (immigrants, Mexicans, Muslims, and so on) aren't just lies but signals of what the administration is going to do next. I made a longer post on Facebook on this, but also with several things people...

Re: Differences between Sega and PS1 Versions

I liked Luna coming with you. I liked her scene when she meets Ghaleon. One of my favorite scenes in the entire game! That and the 3 sisters revealing themselves. I also found TSS way TOO easy. For someone who just played it for the first time...The game was way too simple. Having magic with Alex m...

Re: Eid Mubarak! / !عيد مبارك

Eid Mubarak! Yesterday was Eid-ul-Fitr marking the end of Ramadan. It was also an eventful month as I started a new job. (Some of my biggest positive milestones happened in Ramadan: my first professional job, this new one, proposing to Jenner, closing on our house, etc.). Wishing a blessed time to e...
