LN Book Club! Currently about: 1984, (we can add more)

I was thinking of starting a book discussion here. I don't want to do a typical book club (where we all read one thing and discuss -- partly because I'm a slow reader, and partly because I'm not sure we'd have enough people on-board). Rather, we can pick something that either (a) many folks have rea...

Re: Our cat is pretty great.

So Prel (where did her name come from?) is older than ours. Our first five (not counting our very first cat who passed away in 2014) were all born in summer/fall 2007. "Prel" was a random combo of sounds that Jenner put together 'cause it sounded right. This is our bunny boy, Aliquot. He ...

Re: Activism, Social Justice, Protests and you: The Political Discussion Containment Thread

Voting matters, but it's just a start. At least in the US, representatives have to take communications from their constituents. (The New Yorker has a great article on What Calling Congress Does . It also acknowledges things like e-mail, paper letters, and the like.) Then local politics is where a l...

Is the rhythm game part common, or just that one part? KF

BTW, here's a guide I've been regularly updating -- whenever you're looking at all this and wondering "what can I do?":

Hey BTW, other people can post pics of their cats or pets too.

Especially bunnies. Anyone have any pet bunnies? KF

Re: Life is Strange

I was able to find things like the Collector's Edition (https://store.na.square-enix.com/product/293956/life-is-strange-limited-edition-xbox-one), but the last time I looked into maybe getting one it was completely sold out. Jenner and I both just bought the whole thing on Steam. The collector's edi...

Re: What to update?

It seems most of the support (here and on Facebook) is for the Artbook updates first, then All The Lunar after that. Which is fortunate, 'cause the Artbooks one is the most straightforward (just scan in and organize). For All The Lunar, I'd need to decide what to screenshot/demonstrate, what files t...

What to update?

I posed this question on the LunarNET Facebook page, and wanted to put it up here also (with a poll this time): We've been a bit quiet lately, but we do have some plans this year to make some major additions to the site -- mainly to the "World of Lunar" sections. Here's some stuff upcoming...

Yeah sure! I'm not opposed to an 'unofficial LunarNET' Instagram.

Or just, like, a Lunar Instragram that you or we link a bunch on the forums. KF

Re: Send in the clowns...

Ugh, y'know, this is one thing I've done a near-180 on (..160 perhaps) since I was young. I used to not care about the pop-culture references and thought that folks were giving WD to hard a time for adding them in. That and it never really ruined my immersion. Now though? ...they're really jarring.....

NOBODY LIKES FISHING MINIGAMES!

Also I don't think it's been 15 years yet. We got another 3 years to go if that's the case.

...that and it sounds an awful lot like the "delete this ROM after 24 hours" stuff back in the 90s... or 00s... ...n/m pretty sure people still say that now. KF

Re: Women's March on Washington.

Political discussions aren't going to be banned from these boards. Being apolitical is a luxury a lot of us don't have -- especially folks who are under fire or have been actually threatened by this administration or its policies, which are not simply talk and that they are implementing (some of the...

Re: Lunarthreads app and/or Official Lunar-Net Instagram page

Honestly there just isn't a lot of new content these days; I'm not sure an Instagram would be worth the time investment. The Facebook page barely has much to promote these days (maybe a little if I get around to the planned updates this year -- and it's taken a backseat to activism this year, so it ...

Well, you've checked out, but for the benefit of others (and the off chance you decide to check back), I'll highlight a few things here. Well, we all know about her life now, don't we? I didn't make it personal at all... This was blatantly false; Sonic# and Alun enumerated the ways that you immediat...

Ah yeah, I need the actual game script file. Hm, I'm actually wondering where or from whom I got the Japanese script file (...I don't always keep track of these things...).

We also didn't get paid like we were supposed to! *grumble grumble* I think it would make a cool feature to release those documents, but I would assume that's against whatever was in the NDA. (I'm not even sure I have a copy of any of it anymore though, as I lost a lot of my Lunar documents to a de...
