Re: Hi all! Back again, missing old times.
Yes, compare the time between Lunar on Sega CD and Lunar DS, and the time between Lunar DS and now. Yikes!

Hi all! Back again, missing old times.
Hi fellow Lunar fans. I joined back in 2005 when Dragon Song came out but only posted a few times. I now find myself missing old times. It was so exciting back in the SNES, Sega CD, and Playstation days. Getting new and exciting JRPGs every year. I find myself just wanting to play some good ol' 2D J...

Re: First pic of Lunar for ios
I too emailed Somoga last week and got a similar reply.
I hope they don't even try to update the artwork or character sprites. The changes they made to Vay were pretty horrible. Compare these images:

Good point. Maybe some sort of Memorial Edition. I bet they could fit both PS1 and SEGA CD versions on one PS2 DVD. Heck, maybe even Game Gear games. That'd be nice!
I'd buy it!

Arutena. It's visible in one of the first screenshots in Kizyr's Legend guide, if you read katakana. Cool, thanks. And sorry about the misunderstanding. As for my clone theory, I wasn't serious that Luucia "totally has to be a clone" -- of course it's wild speculation. I've just seen that naming co...

Uh, Luna's name does double a vowel. The world and game is runa; Luna's name is ruuna (romanized Luhna in the manuals and artbooks). It's exactly the same change as between rushia and ruushia. Ohhh...well if you had just said Runa and Ruuna I would have know what you meant. I've never seen any of t...

Would you mind citing examples of exactly what you feel is different? His style changed mainly between TSS and EB, and I think someone else must've done some of the art in Legend, so besides those two I really don't see much different in style here. A bunch of little things that my eyes can see eas...

So clearly Luna must be a clone of the world of Lunar, since the same difference exists between their Japanes names. If you're going to take things so seriously, at least be careful. I said "double a vowel in the original name." So if there was another character in the game named Lunaa, then I woul...

Ahh, so there is one extra vowel in the Japanese name! That totally means this new Lucia is a clone. That's just how you name clones -- double a vowel from the original name. I think that's an actual First Rule of Cloning or something. I wonder if I'm the first to hypothesize this? Anyway, that's my...

Your thoughts so far on Lunar DS
Okay, obviously we haven't seen much yet, but what do you think of the new game at this early stage? I totally agree with something Kishi said in another thread: My only disappointment is the apparent lack of a movement system in the battlefield. To me, that was one of the gameplay mechanics that re...
