Re: Selling consoles and games

I mean, eBay is the most accessible, and it offers some protection if the buyer tries to back out of or cancel payment (and if a seller tries to back out of sending the goods). If you don't mind the risk, it'd be a good idea to first sell some of the things that'd be more appealing to a specific fa...

Selling consoles and games

I am looking to sell most of all my consoles and games including my lunar collection.

I was wondering the best place to find out what they are worth and where to sell them.

Any suggestions?

Thank you

Hmm, I wish Babylon 5 was playing on tv still. I've heard it's really good, and my all time favorite tv show - DS9 - gets a lot of bashing for ripping of B5. I'd kind of enjoy comparing them myself, since all the websites I've gone to comparing them have really grasped at straws. Firefly is probabl...

Isn't this the first direct-to-DVD Babylon 5 movie? The others, I thought, were "made-for-TV movies" and then released on DVD much later. While some of them were kind of "meh" , I thought one of the TV movies ("In the Beginning") was amazing. Also, some of the books ar...

I'm going to have to wait on feedback for this one, then rent it before actually buying. I loved the Babylon 5 original series. That and Firefly were the only sci-fi shows I could ever get into, but a lot of their related productions since then were lackluster, didn't quite live up to the original ...

Ooh. I love story, and Babylon 5 has an awesome one. Although I'm not sure I see the point of pre-ordering considering I should be able to pick it up tomorrow in stores... Granted, but if you look at it that way, there is really never any point in preordering anything. And also this was kind of a c...

New Babylon 5 DVD, Will be released tomorrow

Just in case anyone that liked Babylon 5 didn't know, a new dvd is being released on July 31st which is essentially 2 new episodes. Also like other straight to DVD releases (new Futurama episodes, etc), more new DVDs will be made depending on the sales of this one. So please any and all people, plea...

If I may ask, what is wrong with the name? Maybe it has some meaning I don't know or something.

Thanks

Sure, I hope he can manage to do something with this, but just the name alone is already giving me a bad impression. KF

One of these days when I get out of the stone ages I'll get a digital camera and post up a pic of myself. I've never really been a picture person, but now I think I'm coming around. I need to get a hold on some old "regular pictures" and scan them in.

So I assume that means that you read the foundation and robot series then? How did the two compare? Did you like robot over foundation, or anything? And have you read the empire series? Any information about these without spoiling these would be cool.

Well lets see, right now I'm in the middle of the Foundation series by Isaac Asimov. I've already read all 7or 8 books in the past, but its been so long I'm reading them again, right now I'm on The Second Foundation. Its really an awesome series, especially considering the scope of it all as well as...

Okay, I've spoken with some people at work and they are saying that some people from the army have indeed been sent along with the National Guard. Where they are from I don't know though. And about charities, nobody at works seems to really know of any other charities that are credibal besides the R...

@Angelalex Sorry, I don't really know much about which charities would be more likely to get around beuracracy and get to the people better, etc. Haven't really discussed much of this with others yet around here, we are just helping people directly for the time being. Anyway, like I said to GhaleonO...

@GhaleonOne About the Army going on, I really can't comment on that I haven't heard one way or the other on whether they had been sent in or not, but I will be going back to work tomorrow (no holiday for the damn state employees this time) and maybe I will hear something then. @Phyco Based on your l...

I understand that none of the sources saying anything like this are reliable. It all seemed to start with news organizations saying that all the people are stranded, and they are all african american. They seriously said it that blatantly. As soon as I heard that I knew what they were insenuating, a...

I guess you just happen to keep catching it when its not being said, because everytime I turn it on any station within a few minutes I hear some hints about it, then they do a whole report on it periodically. Anyway I've seen numerous reports on how this whole situation has brought about another iss...

Getting back to the topic a little

I'm not sure how much all of you have been watching the news. But I have to point out what I said earlier about race and to the contrary of what phyco said about it. I see on every news station now about race left and right now. I just can't believe the lies and utter bullcrap that the news and the ...

More

Sorry didn't mean to place blame on you for the name. Wasn't my intention. A few other things I have found out, but can't confirm all of it, here it goes though: The situation in N.O is getting worse and worse. The looters are shooting at rescue helicopters, a rescue boat captain was stabbed by a fa...
