No scans? Of just that one picture? I don't know where I'd even pick up Otaku USA; I've never heard of it. I don't think it's distributed regularly here.
They do have a nice website, I'll give them that. Maybe I'll even subscribe.

Re: One hell of a semester
I will never take four graduate math classes simultaneously again. I did that once. Not much fun. I'm glad to be at the point in my program where I need to take one class per semester. I was only required to take three, but it ended up being the situation where four classes I needed to take at some...

Re: DS Recommendations
Bowser's Inside Story was great. One of the best DS games in recent memory. If you're up for a challenge, I also highly recommend the Megaman Zero Collection.

Vyse goes to Chicago!
So it turns out I'm going to be in Chicago with a couple of friends over New Year's. Any of you guys who live in the area have any words of advice/restaurant recommendations/care to meet up?

One hell of a semester
I'm back. I will never take four graduate math classes simultaneously again. And along the way, that girl I'd been chasing started dating a really good friend of mine, right after turning me down because she "doesn't want to date anyone right now, needs to just be single." Bah. This has ju...

Skies of Arcadia. But I may have a bias.Imperial Knight wrote:Don't get the wrong impression though, I enjoyed the game a lot, it just wasn't flawless. What game is?
I have been spending too much time playing Recettear and not enough time doing homework. Totally worth it, though!

Actually, now that I think about it...I think my video game soundtrack posts outnumber my "normal" music posts.chiiruchan wrote:*feels like a doofus* Ok... I guess everyone here listens to game soundtracks here and there.

Eh, I am disinterested. I'm not even really sure why. Maybe I've finally given up on book movies.

Re: Hetalia!
I watched the first season when it was first fansubbed, and I just couldn't get into it. I think a lot of humor went over my head because I don't know a lot of history, and I'm particularly clueless about the first half of the 20th century. I understand there were a couple of big wars. Anyway, what ...

Re: What Are You Currently Playing?
When I take breaks from schoolwork, I've been playing some: Civilization IV Team Fortress 2 Grandia 2 Chrono Cross Dragon Quest IX I thought the voice acted Tails in Sonic SatAM was good. SatAM was a decent Tails. I mean more in the 3D Sonics. Oh Grandia II! One of my favorites! What version? And y...

Re: Book of the Moment
A friend of mine loaned me The Problems of Philosophy by Bertrand Russel (the same whose paradox inspired Zermelo-Fraenkel set theory.) I've only just started, but it's something I've wanted to read for a while anyway.

Not at all. It is truly heartbreaking.
Anyway, I get to keep her! I'll post pictures as soon as I can snag a good one.

Re: Book of the Moment
I haven't read anything but my textbooks in a while, but the last thing I read was great. Buddy Holly is Alive and Well on Ganymede by Bradley Denton. It was fantastic. Rock 'n roll history meets aliens with social commentary. Highly recommended. Won a few awards when it came out, and just recently ...

Re: Bored and Lonely.
Well, right now he's snuggled up with my brother (who happens to be my roommate.) It turns out he's a really friendly little guy if you don't try to pick him up! First I'm going to see if maybe I can keep him. The apartment complex I live in supposedly has a two pet maximum (I already have two cats)...

Re: Bored and Lonely.
I've been studying with that girl I've had a crush on. We found a kitten as we were walking out of her apartment. I caught it, and it did not want to get caught. I am bitten and scratched to hell and back. It even bit through my fingernail . I couldn't just leave it alone, though. It was way too you...

Didn't you go to Dragon*Con also? Man, I can't do cons that close together, I just can't.
