Re: Anime Conventions

Wish I hadn't been so busy and saw this sooner! I was at ACEN again this year. I didn't see any Lunar cosplay this year, sadly.

Re: Finally, after literally 15 years of looking...

That's awesome! I really liked the game when I played it. Hopefully you do enjoy it. If my backlog of games I haven't played yet wasn't so large I might replay it just for the nostalgia. KF I hope I enjoy it too! Given that I love Magic Knight Rayearth and Working Designs translated it, I hope that...

Finally, after literally 15 years of looking...

So, 15 years ago when I was a kid, I had bought a magazine that on one page had this mail in thing where you could purchase games. One of those games listed happen to be Magic Knight Rayearth on the Sega Saturn. Now, this was a tiny bit before I knew about Lunar or Working Designs. The only thing I ...

Re: lunar veteran makes an appearance.

Welcome! :D

You've been a fan for quite a long time! I never even had a Sega CD until I got older, just so I could play the originals. I started with the PS1 games, so I've only known about Lunar for 14 years. :P

Re: Hey there! I'm SuperDerek!

I've played the Game Gear version. It's been YEARS since I've played it though and I honestly don't remember much about it. It wasn't on the same level as Lunar 1 and Lunar 2 from what I remember, but it was alright. I know little about the Saturn version other than what I've read here on Lunar-Net,...

Re: Hey there! I'm SuperDerek!

Welcome! It's awesome to see a relatively new fan pop in! You definitely need to get the Sega CD versions and play them. Both of the Sega CD versions have quite a few differences from the remakes that make them worth playing. Weren't you in a video on the Game Quest? You were pretty awesome in that ...

Re: What Are You Currently Playing?

Yup, I'm the same way as well... I skip around games waaaaayyyy too much. This is why I have so many games unbeaten. >__<'

Still working on .Hack, just got to Mutation a few days ago. If I keep up the pace, I should eventually get back to Outbreak where I quit all those years ago! :D

Re: What Are You Currently Playing?

I like calling on Mistral because she'd type like this all the time. :D I thought her personality was more helpful than anything/anyone else. By the time I even got Piros, I leveled up all of her healing moves so she was very helpful. The Wavemasters I preferred because they were the only ones to h...

Re: What Are You Currently Playing?

I'm afraid of myself that I actually like .Hack. I love the storyline, I think it's a very modern story. I loved the opening poetry class recital, hehe. The cast was growing on me so much especially in the first installment. I like a random player like Mistral over any other character and that can ...

Re: What Are You Currently Playing?

Just started up .Hack//Infection on the PS2 again. I ended up stopping right at the beginning out .Hack//Outbreak back in the day when the games were first released. Never got back around to playing the games, and then I discovered a few years ago I must have lost the memory card with my data on it....

Lunar was released in the USA 20 years ago as of this month

I just realized this! I am currently making a list of my gaming collection using vgcollect.com, and they didn't have Lunar The Silver Star (JP Mega CD version) on there, so I was adding it. I clicked on the Wikipedia page to get the Japanese name for Lunar, and I scrolled down to see that on...

Re: What Are You Currently Playing?

I've been in a super Pokemon kick ever since playing through Pokemon Y, so I went ahead and decided to start playing through Pokemon Soul Silver again, because I somehow never got around to beating it the first time.

Re: Favorite Lunar song?

For me, it has always been the Star Dragon Tower Theme from the Sega CD version of Lunar 2. I remember when I first got Lunar 2 Eternal Blue Complete and listening to that CD, I always wondered why such an awesome song was not in the game. Then, years later I would find out it's in the Sega CD versi...

I haven't gotten the 2nd badge yet either, lol! I'm clocked in at 11 hours. Just added your friend code! :3 And thanks! I'll be sure to let you know! If you need any Y version exclusive Pokemon later on, let me know. Also, I can breed Fennekins if you need Fennekin. I've been trading off Fennekins f...

Pokemon X/Y

Anyone else here still play Pokemon? :D So far, I love Pokemon Y! I haven't gotten to play very much of it yet, but I'm really happy with what they have done with the newest installment in the series! And I'm also thinking about picking up Pokemon X as well, cause of Mega Charizard X. Btw, here's my...

Re: Sega CD + LUNAR™ The Silver Star

Like with any electronic, I would just recommend keeping your system clean. Sega CD systems are old though, so just try and treat it gently. :) The model 2 Sega CDs are built a lot better than the model 1 Sega CDs, so I really don't think you'll have too many problems with it though. I own both a mo...

Re: Key chains- Full set of 6 -Now for Sale

Don't get me wrong, it would be awesome to have a Lunar keychain with my keys and I'd want to do that too...so I definitely see what you mean, but I would never do something like that because I would not want to damage those things because they are so incredibly rare. Staying on a keyring could mean...

Re: What Are You Currently Playing?

I've been playing SMT4 on 3DS in spurts. I'm too lazy to make proper time for it. And I still haven't even made it very far in Etrian Odyssey IV--less than half-way through the game, at least. I consider them both must-haves for 3DS owners though. SMT4 is REALLY good, you should make proper time fo...
