For some reason I ended up taking a somewhat different strategy. See, my housemate thought there'd be a goddess statue just past Xenobia, so we went forward after defeating her and landed in the battle with Ghaleon without healing up or reloading anyone's inventories. And without saving, too. We'd a...

I looked for you at BVG but didn't get there until after you had left to see the show. But if one of your coworkers tells you that someone asked for you yesterday, that was probably me. I'm not going today (since it's around 2pm that I'm posting, that's probably obvious), nor tomorrow, since we're g...

Yep, both the CDs were just the in-game music, with the exception (I think) of the Balamb Garden from last year's being the arranged track from the orchestrated FFVIII CD. What particularly sucked about this is that several pieces from this year were repeats, so people who got both CDs now have repe...

Re: Old thing...(so what it's been a few days)

12? Me? nope...just starting Highschool, but I consider everyone (or thing) older than me as ancient, just to find out how old you guys really are. It worked too. Actually, that would be "I'm being a thoughtless jerk and trying to cover it up with a lame story, because if I had actually cared enoug...

Heh, I'll try to dig one up that shows what I mean tomorrow night, when I'll be at home (staying with the grandparents tonight). I've linked one of me with my hair looking super-curly due to being in a French braid overnight, but it doesn't show my eye color at all and my hair looks, well, red and c...

Actually, I wouldn't have expected this, but Julie's pic reminds me of a much narrowed version of my own annoyingly round face. I too have a very high forehead and my coloring is similar -- pale skin, grey eyes, brown hair (though a bit lighter than hers). No picture, though. Maybe Rune can tell me ...

Wrong. You're so YOUNG. :P It should not surprise you that fans of a series that began in 1991 are not all highschoolers in 2005. Or whatever age range you were expecting.

The biggest tipoff about bootleg CDs is their price. If there are a bunch that are $7.99 with a BIN of $12, then they're almost certainly fake. (Don't expect to pay less than $25.) Anything by SonMay or Ever Anime is a bootleg, and so if you see those logos you should avoid them. The product numbers...

I don't have it for that purpose. All my playing was done before I bought it. I might try using it if I played again, but I haven't had time to get back to it, so I can't say whether it would be helpful. I did find the Lunar Legend guide to be very useful, but of course LL wasn't much different from...

You look like Vic Jr. in those, especially the second one. ;)

By the way, you'll want to fix the first bracket in your sig.

I have all seven. Actually, to my knowledge I have one of every edition of every Lunar release except the Japanese SSS for PC (I have the Korean one of that, though). Here's the obligatory photo proof: m Not shown: Korean Lunar PC (pic was taken before I got it; I'll have to put together another one...

Depends on who you mean by "we". No one who posts regularly at the boards was, but there were one or two people who came by long enough to say that they wanted to do a translation patch.

I have the Japanese guide, of course, but I think Kizyr prefers to do things himself.

Good grief. I always thought descriptions of yellow eyes were rather fanciful. Robert, that picture is disturbing. Which I suspect is an effect you enjoy. :P

Afraid you've missed the opportunity, then...after a certain point, and I think it's when the Grindery takes off, you can no longer visit the springs. Sorry. If you have a save from earlier in the game, give it a try; you do get an item which lets you view the cutscenes, but it only shows the ones y...

Ah, yes, that's the one I was expecting from your description. Odd that they're sticking with the TSS pics when the others would certainly be better known.

His TSS intro picture? I thought that pic was from the last scene, right before he transforms into the blue monster. It's the only time you see him in the armor but not the helmet.
