Re: Valentines Day.
My gf works on V-Day, but were planning to go see a few movies in a few weeks. If you think having a Bday and Vday together was bad... My gf's bday is 12-12, our anniversary (5 yrs, going on 6 now) is 12-17, and then Xmas.. argh. However, I got her around $150 worth of American McGee Alice stuff, s...

Re: LUNAR:SSH "On the Spot" PREVIEW plus LE Packaging Box!
This shouldn't get lost in this discussion. I just changed mine to release day and appear to have actually saved money from when I switched it to 2 day. woo!whitedragon_nall wrote:BTW: For all you Amazon preorderers....SSH is now available with release day shipping!!!

Re: Lunar no.1 in PSP Games in amazon.com!!!
Very awesome. It's moved up again. When I checked it right after my preorder the other day it was sitting at #4 for PSP.Werefrog wrote:It's actually the number one PSP game in the RPG category. Sorry to burst your bubble.
Edit:
It is, however, number three overall for the PSP. That's pretty good too!

I'm really into the song "For Those Who Wait" by Fireflight right now. CD comes out this week, but got an early download of the title track. Really great stuff.

Never Really Introduced Myself...
Hey, there! It just occurred to me that I never really introduced myself. I just showed up and started posting. I got into Lunar after picking SSC up shortly after it released and has been a veracious fan since. I live in PA and am a Youth Pastor (I've often wondered if I'm the only clergy Lunar fan...

Re: Valentines Day.
I've never gone on a date with a woman on Valentines Day, so yeah I'm a little bitter. :/ That may not be a bad thing. Dates on V-day can suck. My worst date ever was on V-day. =o) I recall seeing a statistic somewhere, the conclusion of which was that couples are more likely to fight on V-day and ...

Re: Valentines Day.
I'm not a big fan either. A couple of my relationships have gone over Valentine's Day, but I can't say that I have any real special memories from them. My last relationship ended a little over two years ago so I'd probably just hole up at home with books and games on that day but I have to "wor...

Re: Lunar SSH Facebook Page!
Yeah it's kind of funny actually. Their Lunar page on fb is WAY more active than XSEED's reg fb page. I have been impressed w/ how much they are making the fans feel included. =) I'm impressed with the sensibilities of these smaller RPG publishers. They seem to get the fans better than others (avoi...

Re: January interview with Iwadare
That's the first time I saw anything about it being released. Is it on consoles or PC? I don't know if I'd be into it as I much rather prefer a series continuation, and not an MMORPG. If they aren't going to make a numbered game they should at least remake Grandia. I agree on the Grandia remake. I ...

Re: Lunar no.1 in PSP Games in amazon.com!!!
As for shipping, I just went with Free Super Saver shipping since it's free on orders $25 and over on Amazon. I think some of you who have completed the Japanese version might want to throw up some reviews on Amazon, as that sometimes helps people make a purchase. I know the game is going to be gre...

Re: Lunar no.1 in PSP Games in amazon.com!!!
I FINALLY preordered the game this morning. I must confess that this is my first time preordering a game online. I just did the standard shipping, should I still get it by release day?
... and as far as standing for sales, the game is still a respectable 4th for PSP titles.

Re: Retronauts podcast 86
Kinda disappointing. I thought the RPGamer RPG Backtrack podcast about Lunar was done better. http://www.rpgamer.com/backtrack/backtrack_archive.html It's number 9: "Take Heed" Definitely. I've listened tot his RPG Backtrack cast several times and it's great. The Retronauts podcast on Lun...

Re: RPGamer SSH Impressions
It figures that information that could benefit the story is just left out of the game, and ends up somewhere else almost as an aside. Yeah, oy. It'd be nice if XSeed found a way to get some of this stuff in the game. My understanding about the new content is that it's a little more than just the Fo...

Re: How Successful does Lunar SSH need to be?
Final Night, it goes beyond word of mouth. There has to be some kind of marketing involved for it to be a mainstream success, but it seems to always fall into a niche. You also have less of a PSP market in the US compared to consoles so that limits your numbers. A bunch of us will buy a PSP, or rec...

Re: How Successful does Lunar SSH need to be?
Well we aren't aware of how many copies need to sell for XSEED to break even, or to consider it successful. It has to get more publicity in order to sell, and at this point it's minimal. Let's hope for the best. There's always the potential for a sleeper game that people catch onto gradually an end...

Re: Royce, Phacia and Laike voices!!
If you've played SSSC then how can anything be spoiled aside from the prologue? The game is pretty much entirely the same. It's been at least five years since I played it. None of the plot would be spoiled, but aside from checking out some screens and the voice clips I don't want to spoil the exper...

Re: Royce, Phacia and Laike voices!!
I hadn't listened to them yet just from the stand point that I was worried that they'd be longer clips (than just short samples) and I didn't want anything spoiled (even though I've played SSSC and even Legend). In case anyone else was in the same boat as me they're just little snippets like on the ...
