Re: Did anyone know that a WD RPG actually got a remake?

Double post again, sorry, but I know some people are actually viewing the album based on hits I'm getting so I KNOW at least one person is viewing it. I, and at least one other person I know, have been checking it out. For those of us who've played the new version, your commentary is pretty funny i...

Re: Did anyone know that a WD RPG actually got a remake?

Double post again, sorry, but I know some people are actually viewing the album based on hits I'm getting so I KNOW at least one person is viewing it. I've essentially caught up on my snapshot backlog, and just got the Water Orb. I've put Vay on hold for a couple days for Final Fantasy VI DS, but I'...

Re: Did anyone know that a WD RPG actually got a remake?

I'm pretty sure most of Pottle's behavior here can be explained by him being a 11-13 year old male who's had next-to-no interaction with the opposite gender. Oh well, YEAH. It's just that Working Designs took that to an extreme degree because he was perfect for it (it being their more lol adolescen...

Re: Did anyone know that a WD RPG actually got a remake?

Well now! I'm starting to see WD influence here! http://www.rpgcafe.net/images/Vay/itouch/092.PNG and http://www.rpgcafe.net/images/Vay/itouch/dirtyjoke.jpg I guess I take back what I've said before about Pottle being more innocent this time around. Totally take it all back! I have roughly 100 pictu...

Re: Did anyone know that a WD RPG actually got a remake?

Okay, added a ton of new snapshots and will probably add a ton yet again tomorrow (I'm just in Mt Bole (Called Mt. Tipuya in this version) now). I'll probably update again once I'm in the next town or something. I have at least 20 shots I haven't uploaded yet. A few little things: -The touch control...

Re: Did anyone know that a WD RPG actually got a remake?

Bwahahaha :D BTW, the references get BETTER. http://www.rpgcafe.net/images/Vay/itouch/016.PNG Also, this entire exchange cracks me up for obvious reasons. I dunno which character to feel worse for, here: http://www.rpgcafe.net/images/Vay/itouch/018.PNG I'm actually updating the album a lot. I'll pro...

Re: Did anyone know that a WD RPG actually got a remake?

Sorry for the double posting, but someone from RPGFan requested it, so I thought I'd share with you, too. Since it's really easy to take snapshots with the itouch, I've started to make an album of Vay snapshots from the game. I'll periodically be adding to it as time goes on. I'm only up to Fort Gil...

Re: Did anyone know that a WD RPG actually got a remake?

Another incentive might be to play a game where the Wind Elemental has something approaching normal stats. :P Also no Gold Vortex. So, in the Japanese game, do you still have to wear Filtration Helmets or whatever they were called to get transported by Sirufa to the next area? Are they just called ...

Re: Did anyone know that a WD RPG actually got a remake?

Sigh, RPGCafe... ;_; I want to do something with it, but I don't have nearly the manpower or CSS knowledge to make it truly awesome again. I've been considering a podcast or blog, though. Too bad podcasts are expensive to run (bandwidth, etc). BTW, there's a youtube video of Vay up if anyone is inte...

Re: Did anyone know that a WD RPG actually got a remake?

I know! I should! I'm an elementary school teacher now, so my time is kinda limited. It's summer vacation now, though, so I've got more free time! I'm torn on the itouch thing! I didn't want one when it first came out because all it seemed to have was just touch capabilities. However, trolling aroun...

Did anyone know that a WD RPG actually got a remake?

Coming out of a long, long not posting spell because you guys were the first people I figured would want to hear this, considering there are tons of WD fans here and I KNOW some of you guys are fans of this game. Imagine my utter, complete shock today that apparently the RPG Vay has been REMADE. Yes...

I visit YTMND all the time (and the math one is utterly brillant and sums up my feelings on math perfectly). YTMND is sort of like 4chan.com (an image board site with tons of pictures). Most of what is on there is crap and is in bad taste, but some of it is utterly brillant. You just have to wade th...
The only problem with the Titus is a fairy portion of the story is there's virtually no clue that he IS one. It totally comes out of left field.

Ok, at what point in the story (the specific place and roughly what percentage of the way through the game) do you LOSE Lucia as a playable character? Also, I know someone said that you DO NOT get her back (as an active party member I asssume) for the rest of the game. What I really want ...

Serious questions aboutu the ending (obvious spoilers)

I'll spoiler tag this just in case:
I seriously did not understand two aspects of the ending. While I understood that Althena was reborn (and actually reborn, not just hiding as) Lucia, the game made it sound like this was a 'final rebirth'. While that's fine and all...what does taht mean ...

Cards are what saved my hiney. While I forget the names (and I'm pretty sure I was near the same levels you are at now), the cards that heal HP each turn, the attack up cards, and the 100% accuracy cards really help. If you can stomach it, have Lucia cast grand shell as well. All of this really help...

Choice B. Easily.

Think of it this way: the big ol' plot point that comes up in the game would be even more of a'OMGWHAT' moment if choice B happened too.

This drove me nuts too.

I'm pretty sure tapping the A buttons 2-3 times stops the countdown. I can get it to go to 0 quickly almost every battle, but it's automatic so I'm not 100% sure the A button is the right one. COULD be X.
