... First off, I can't find any evidence that these are really the reviews for Famitsu. It looks like an ordinary message board. The four respondents could be beta testers, but otherwise I don't see where the connection between the site you linked and Famitsu lies. I'm not saying it's false, just I ...

Magazine reviews are generally long-winded (and paid) advertisements. I wouldn't pay much credence to the ratings they give.

Sports games in general seem to repetitive to me. And, I really don't like EA's business practices. KF

It's the most upbeat post I've ever seen about games being stolen, though. Well, when my computer was stolen, I just had to up and deal with it and do what I could to continue (and recover) my lost work and data. I was bitter for the first week or so, especially the first weekend when I had to re-w...

Alunissage wrote:If that is intended to be Althena, it's pretty stupid to put that in a commercial, as it would ruin the impact in the game to know it ahead of time.

Well, they did have Dark Althena in the intro video of TSS. KF

As I recall, Japan's television time slots are arranged to give less time for commercials, compared to the US. So, 1-2 minute commercials are rare. Most that I've seen are about 20-30 seconds. But, this is based on memory, not measurement. KF

Odd, I've never had any problems with my Bank of America account. I'm very meticulous about all my finances, though. I need to know where every dollar and sent goes; anything out of place gets me to call within minutes. Quite frankly, when someone else screws up, you have to get them to realize they...

Sweet! If they have Pontiac, tell me, do they have Crazy Horse as well? Shaka Zulu is a good addition, though I'm already used to playing as him in Civ 3 (the Zulus are the easiest civ to win with). KF

Not necessarily... Xenobia could've done some transmogrification spell to change their appearance; so, the magic would've been her doing, not the other Vile Tribesmen. I know Rebecca Capowski has the theory that there are two types of the Vile Tribe, the human-like ones (Ghaleon, Xenobia, Phacia, et...

Everyone has their own little justifications here and there. Me, I don't care. I never cared about having to explain myself or hearing other people's explanations. Discussing emulation hardware is a quite different thing, however. Just talking about emulators for the SNES, Sega CD, etc. is fine. Try...

Also, G1 is generally more lenient. I'm the evil one.

Nah, it's all good. But seriously, I don't want us to have to start banning or even temp-banning folks. There's a lot to discuss without using overt sexuality or trying to find pirated games; most everything is fair game. KF

I think you miss the point of 'maturity'. Violence and sex will get an M rating, but that doesn't mean a game is more 'mature'. Making two versions is nonsensical, anyhow. Lunar shouldn't have anything which merits an M rating to begin with and I agree but, in your anger, forget not that we do not ...
