I don't really see this controller having much impact on the Wii, seeing as it doesn't really match the functionality of the Wii's controller (e.g. it's still two handed). I'm not sure the Wii Dragon Quest title will necessarily impact the PS3 all that much since it's my understanding that it's a sp...

Right now I'm going through final exams. I just finished with final exams this afternoon. It's kind of weird for me to think that in just a couple of days I'll cease being a college student and become a college graduate. It still hasn't truly sunk in. Anyways, things are pretty nice in Bloomington ...

I recall helping a friend with a project where he had to find information on countries around the world, and part of that information was the litteracy rate. In most of the countries in Europ, they all had 99-100% rate. Even the poor countries still had 90% or more. Then I got curious about the Uni...

I should mention I have a dog. An Australian Shepherd. He's cool. He kills flies. It's pretty hilarious watching him chase them around the room until he catches it. Back when he was younger and more energetic our dog used to do that. Or rather, he would try to do that. I only know of one time when ...

I haven't read The DaVinci Code and don't particularily intend to. That's why I will for the most part do not like dystopian political literature such as 1984, Brave New World, The Handmaid's Tale or Anthem. It's a system of affirming polarizing beliefs regardless of how fictional a book is, and rid...

The game is Lords of Lunar (an adaptation of the old Atari game Warlords). To unlock it start the "Making Of" CD and press Up, Down, Left, Right, Triangle, Start.

Recently I've restarted Sim City 4 . Unfortunately some recent computer trouble resulted in my losing all of my previous data. But I suppose that does let me start over with a clean slate now that I have more experience with the game's systems. I'd say I'm doing a better job now than I did before. M...

I have Rhapsody . I can't really say it's all that great of a game, but for whatever reason I do enjoy it for what it is. I think part of that may be the short length. If it were longer I may have ended up losing patience with it. The gameplay is pretty boring, and it's too easy (though at least the...

Perhaps I didn't explain what I was trying to say very well. Broadly stated, all I was trying to say was that given all the different retellings it can be hard to say what "really" happened, and that, in my experience, people have a variety of ways of dealing with the issue. And yes, I am ...

Issues of what's canon and what's not are typically difficult to handle in any fandom, even in those with a precise policy regarding what is and isn't canon, and Lunar would seem to be especially difficult in that regard. Fans tend to form their own ideas about what does and doesn't "count,&quo...

Off the top of my head, I'd say the worst I've played is The Tick (SNES). A friend of mine bought it for something like $5 at Funcoland and, quite frankly, I'd say that's too much. We tried playing through it one afternoon. Some highlights: -The first several levels each contain only one kind of ene...

Except in rare cases, games do the vast majority of their sales in the first few months. I don't have access to any of the monthly data for SSSC, so I can't say for sure whether it fit into that pattern, but assuming G1's statement about the preorders is correct, I'd say it probably did.

I believe the actual figure is closer to 250K, which is still very impressive, especially given WD's size.

It's nice to see that. My import collection consists of one PS2 game and, depending on your perspective, either two or three PS1 games (one of them is a collection of two games). It's annoying that I had to mod my consoles just because I wanted to play a couple of games that didn't get American rele...

I was at a GameStop today talking with the Employees there, Apparently according to them, Ubisoft now owns the US liscence to the Lunar name, so technically, Sega wouldn't have a say on whether or not Lunar appears on the Revo or not. As a general rule, I'd take anything a game store employee tells...
