Opeth's Damnation is a incredible album. Watershed sounds like its going to be great as well

Re: Prince Caspian... (minor spoilers)
I can only pray that they treat Susan the same way in the movie that they did in the book. Lewis gets a lot of crap for his treatment of Susan, but I think that people fail to see that in the real world people really do lose sight of what's really important and get consumed by worldly interests. And...

Re: nautical themed music
The Alchemy Index: Vol. 2: Water by Thrice. The theme is pretty self-explanatory. Good soundtrack music that is water-like is Master and Commander. David Gilmour's On an Island is more like Jimmy Buffet meets Pink Floyd, but it still always reminds me of the water.

Sweeeet. What about In Mourning's Shrouded Divine? I've been hearing a fair deal about that.

Re: Prince Caspian... (minor spoilers)
I'm going to agree with Pisces about Peter and Caspian butting heads: I thought it added another layer to the movie, and while the book portrayed Peter otherwise, I think the tension was necessary for screen. The only thing that really bugged me was the whole romantic subplot between Susan and Princ...

Re: Fair To Midland
I bought their album last summer because it was on Best Buy's $7.99 shelf and I liked the artwork. Really cheap reasons to buy an album, I realize, but I was wonderfully surprised by what is probably my favorite album of the year.
Good band.
Good band.

In the strategy genre, Final Fantasy Tactics Advance is great, and so is Yggdra Union. The latter is an acquired taste though, some might find it a bit too weird. Speaking of acquired tastes, Riviera: The Promised Land is great (if you can find it) and so is Etrian Odyssey. In the Zelda vein, The Mi...

Quite honestly, the evangelicals aren't the reason the movie is so heavily altered: it's the Catholic Church. While FotF may not make a huge effect by picketing the movie, the Catholic League probably can. But seriously, while I don't agree with Philip Pullman's views, I think that freedom of speech...

A Different Twist On The Lunar Series?
Now, being a constant visitor of Lunar-Net, but never an active member, I have decided to put forth an idea of mine, knowing that I risk my "self-esteem" in doing so. I have always wondered about what Lunar would be like as a turn-based RPG strategy game. Mind you, this strategy game would...
