I'm out of college, waiting anxiously for the Fall semester. I get into the real meat and potatoes of Object-oriented programming. That excites me; possibly more than it should any human. One of my best friends also had a wake up call and realized working in a factory his entire life wasn't the way ...

I just got the two newest Diablo novels Moon of the Spider and Tales of Sanctuary. I've been a total sucker for anything Warcraft or Diablo for years, but haven't given the Starcraft novels a chance yet.

Yes it does. Actually my movie was a recording of TSS running in Gens. The reason why it still works is that I'm pretty sure it's just a designed game mechanic rather than a bug. However, I am not sure why they put it in as an option; there's no doubting it's superior for chracters like Alex and Kyl...

Here's a movie clip demonstrating it for those curious enough:

I remember downloading Okane ga Ichiban years back while impatiently waiting for EBC to come out. It wasn't bad, and at the time my Japanese was rusty; now it's practically non-existant.

Ah, cool. I have lots of family in VA. I myself live in the eastern panhandle of West Virginia(yee haw?). Shout out to my cows? :P

"Sample my goods!" (Leo using an item) always made me laugh hysterically. I really like the voice acting in combat for this game, it's just so much better than other games. ;)

I was speaking in terms of the original Lunar: The Silver Star for the Sega CD, not SSSC for Playstation. Although, your above example is yet more proof that in SSSC Alex faces just that much more internal conflict than Alex in TSS for Sega CD.

I think that was the note that asked Hiro to not give up on Lucia wasn't it? That she was so alone on the Blue Star and Althena didn't want it to stay that way. I could be wrong because I haven't played EBC or EB lately. That's actually next up on my list. 8)

Alex's silence has never bothered me, though my friends and I joke about it quite a lot. Because if you really take a look at him, he's not totally silent with just the "..."s. I think a lot of the "..." jokes originate from TSS for Sega CD. I swear the guy has a dozen real line...

Oh my favorite little trick in SS, the magic attack thing is related to the command of AI at the bottom of each character in the menu, turning it on would enable them to attack after using a magic, providing they had the number of attacks to use it. ^_^ But yea, make sure AI is on and it'll work. P...

I too, would love an entire summary of the game; Sploilers included. I own the game and a DS. However I can't stomach the gameplay, let alone the repetitiveness of Gad's Express.

So yeah, if someone out there has the time to share the story I'd greatly appreciate it.

Any Blizzard Novel Readers Out There?

I'm pretty big on the Warcraft and Diablo novels. Richard Knaak hooks me with every book he puts out. I have two Diablo novels coming in this week:

Moon of the Spider
Tales of Sanctuary

Anyone else out there read up on any Blizzard lore/novels?

Personally, the story in Eternal Blue moves me more than the one in Silver Star. Now I'm not saying I like either one more than the other, just that I tend to get involved more in EB. Hiro starts out as a teenage kid like any other; does things he parents disapprove of and takes stupid risks. It's o...
