I don't know what's so great about it, since it isnt Hiro's beast weapon. I think it's just all the mystery surrounding it, on account of it being in the manual and all that fun stuff. I'm actually kind of curious what item Alunissage was referring to, that's "more interesting." My first guess is t...

Just read 'em.... very cool. Lots of little insights on the processes of the games' creation.

My favorite little bit is how they originally planned to have the Fake Althena give birth to Zophar. That would have certainly been interesting.

I really think the Lunar series helped to up the ante as far as RPG plotting goes. There weren't many games made prior to these that had such deeply-involving plots. Not to mention the excellent characterization.

I don't think it's possible for any of us to actually know whether Mr. Jackson is innocent or guilty of molestation, since I'm fairly sure that none of us has ever actually been to Neverland Ranch. As it is, I'll just trust the system and believe that the jury came to the best conclusion they could ...

It's gotta be TSS for me, simply because it was the first game of any kind that ever REALLY hooked me. I think I was in the 6th grade the first time I played it, and I hadn't really played many games before. As a result, all the plot twists and stuff that I would now pick up on way in advance, all w...

They're new characters that resemble the old characters.

I like what we have so far. I wonder what that bit about Gabriel "feeling guilty about Gien" means? The courier job sounds interesting, too; it reminds me of Phantasy Star 4, which had that hunter's guild thing, or whatever it was called. My biggest concern is using the DS's mic to give a "run" comm...

We have our first plot details!

This is taken from gamespot.com: "The game takes place 1,000 years before Lunar Silver Star, with a new adventure following Gien Campbell, a 15-year-old delivery boy who works in a port town. Party members in the game include Lucia Collins, a 14-year-old magic-using girl who is like a sister to Gien...

That American release date was set a while ago, and the Japanese release date was much more recently announced. We'll probably receive a new announcement soon that the American release date has been more premanently set at about a month after the Japanese date.

Final Fantasy VIII was a big letdown, especially after VI and VII had been so good. There was nothing in it that made me feel compelled to play onward. The plot was ridiculously stupid (The school turns into an airship? The characters all grew up together, but they all forgot about it because they'v...

I'm almost completely certain that the line from Zophar was in that cutscene you mentioned, Alun; the Lucia/Zophar showdown. That's the scene where it's revealed that Lucia will have to destroy Lunar in order to seal away Zophar. I remember hearing Hiro yell, "Liar! That's not true!" And then Zophar...
