Re: Sonic the Hedgehog

I only have one thing to say: the new Sonic game suck. ONly the 2D old school Sonic games ever got the formula right. The creators should never have made the jump to 3D graphics, as they've shown themselves to be completely incapable of making quality Sonic games as of...ever since the first 3D Soni...

Re: So, Chrono Trigger's coming to the DS

Fangasm! I can't wait to see what they do with it (consider that the control scehem will, unfortunately, haver to be altered for the pad onthe DS). I just hope they don't mess with anything too much. I liked the original just fine as it is at this moment.

Re: Potential Lunar Remakes.

Compilation post edited.

Good choice, Omega. Her voice isn't TOO high pitched, and she can sound like young boy. You should be a cast director for FUNimation or something. You sure seem to know what would fit a character spot on.

Re: Potential Lunar Remakes.

Up to the point where you list the Dark Goddess outfit for Althena, your idea for the ability to change sprite images throughout the game is actually pretty good, Angelalex. But please, outside of the cinematics and what-not where Ghaleon forces her to wear that, let's not have that outfit anymore t...

Re: Potential Lunar Remakes.

Alright, I think its time to get everything that's been suggested and agreed upon by the majority of the posters here down on one post because...because we can. That's why. I'm listing these in the order they were suggested in, so its not going to be the most organized list. 1. A game that blends el...

Re: Potential Lunar Remakes.

I know. I was referencing a hidden uber-powerful boss called Deadbeard from the first Golden Sun game.

Re: Do we really need a Lunar 3, in all actuality?

Between Sonic and Shadow, its the blue one that would immediately come to mind for me. In fact, I actively try to not think of Shadow.

Re: Prince Caspian... (minor spoilers)

On the bright side, Caspian isn't doing nearly as well as the first one, so this will be a lesson to just stick with what Lewes wrote next time around.

Re: Do we really need a Lunar 3, in all actuality?

Agreed, Omega. Its always been the main console games that achieve true imfamy in the gaming community. If you think of a game randomly, which is more likely to come to mind?
A. think of Super Mario Land 2, or
B. think of Super Mario World

Re: Potential Lunar Remakes.

True, but in one role I hardly recognized her voice as she was largely able to rid her of its squeakiness, so she does have good vocal ability. Ah, yes, the Overdrive attacks. Useful in a pinch, they were. Heh, heh, as long as we can get more than one and their usage is a little more complex than wh...

Re: Potential Lunar Remakes.

Why would you be hunted down for suggesting Carrie Savage? :?: She's just as good a choice as a lot of other voice actresses. I considered Wendee Lee for Jessica, too, but I figured we already had too many people from Bleach (Wally Wingert and Johnny B. Yong) mentioneded for this. I think any of the...

Re: Potential Lunar Remakes.

I agree, the outfit discussion was funny for while, now its just going down a road it shouldn't. David Gallagher could work. He could add a quality that lets you feel that there's something more beyond what you see on the surface of Alex. Speaking of former Kingdom Hearts cast members, though, what d...

Re: Potential Lunar Remakes.

My mistake on his name. Anyway, I didn't say anything about Johnny's acting skills one way or the other, but I just don't think his voice wuld work for Alex. Johnny Yong Bosch always does his best as more talkative characters (Ichigo, enough said). What is needed for Alex is someone with a quiet and...

Re: Potential Lunar Remakes.

Heh, heh, Dragonmaster S&M. We've all probably seen that innocently looking around the internet for Lunar fan sites, anyway. I know I have *shudders*

Hmm. Knowing gaming companies, they'd probably just cast Johnny Young Bosche as Alex and be done with it, whether or not he's good for the role.

Re: Potential Lunar Remakes.

I could go with that, too.

Jumping topics a little, here, if they remade this with the voice overs, they'd likely have to change the cast. If they did that, who could replace everyone (we're discussing every aspect of a remake, after all  ).

Re: Potential Lunar Remakes.

Bromides and bath scenes don't really count. They don't happen anytime there's plot or even actual gameplay. They're just extras that can be accessed on the side, at the player's leisure, not at the dramatic finale when the player's attention should be on what is being said and done.
