XSeed are publishing it in the US, as rumored.

Re: Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure (Nintendo DS)
I love the PSX original and its dub, but the DS version is a buggy mess.
Worst of all, no dub.

Re: The Director Game.
It's funny how the Sega CD was the least powerful console of any version yet, but it still had the most content. They should push Lunar PSP to the limit. Huge overworld map, large towns, optional dungeons, the works. Square Enix crammed a ton of new content into FFIV DS, and made it tough as nails. ...

Re: Screenshots at Famitsu
Ghaleon's betrayal hits so much harder when he murders Quark in cold blood, then runs off laughing maniacally.
Also:
Huge negative. Bring back a real world map with random battles. That's where half the exploration of the original Lunars came from.

Re: Screenshots at Famitsu
I will be ecstatic if Ghaleon murders Quark in this version.
Not to sound bloodthirsty, but I thought the 'capturing' element in SSSC was lame.

So, still no random battles? I wish they'd bring those back.

Re: Sakura Wars 5 finally coming to America!!!!
Victor Ireland made a post at NeoGAF about how 'massive internal politics' between Sega of America and Sega of Japan stopped this from coming to the states. He said it was a complete mess, and still is.
That said, better late than never. Can't wait.

This looks amazing.
Someone better bring this to the states, and not Ubisoft.

Re: Growlanser PSP
It would be amazing(and somewhat hilarious) if Gaijinworks got ahold of this in case Atlus turns it down.
As long as it comes out here somehow, I'm happy.

Re: GameArts latest project...
Anything to finance the next Lunar game. :) Actually, GameArts does have some damned good coders working for them. Assuming they're given a proper schedule and budget for this TMNT game, it'll probably be just fine (for a TMNT game, at least). At this point, I'm not sure Lunar is safe in GameArts' ...

So wait, it isn't even being published under the Gaijinworks banner?
Not much of a comeback, Vic.
Still, it's a start. I hope it means they've got bigger things in the works.

Re: Why there is no lunar 3?
And suddenly, the reduced quality of the Completes finally makes sense.
They're good games, but nowhere near as excellent as the originals.
Upsetting to know for the most part.
And this even explains why Magical School felt more traditional.

If Gaijinworks shows up with Dragon Force PS2, everything is forgiven.

Re: Finished CTDS (big spoilers)... thoughts on a sequel...
Adding to hopes that Chrono Cross is next up for a remake/port, its tenth anniversary is in November, and Mitsuda's working on a rearrangement of the score for the occasion.
I haven't beaten CT DS yet, but any chance of Chrono Cross getting more love is always good news.

Re: Silver Star's 15th Anniversary
I got a like-new copy for only $40 a couple years back, with the original strategy guide, so I'd say it's not that rare or expensive at all.
Snatcher, on the other hand, commands top dollar. I guess Kojima productions have that effect on people.

Re: New CT DS content... (major spoilers for new DS content)
I'm just hoping this leads to a Chrono Cross port/upgrade(ideally to the PSP), rather than ruining any chance of it. I doubt it would go to PSP. God I feel so bad now, my PSP has been collecting dust and it used to be the -Dragon Diamond-. The only thing I used it for though was homebrew near the e...

Silver Star's 15th Anniversary
So unless wikipedia is dead wrong, as of tomorrow, Lunar: The Silver Star will have been released 15 years ago in the US.
I've been looking for a good reason to replay TSS, and this will do nicely.
Anyone else taking a nostalgia trip for the occasion?

TSS was the first experience I'd had with an RPG showing off animation like that, so even if only from classic status, TSS.
