Re: First impressions of Eternal Blue

I'm kind of at a halt with EB. Because of the giant power cords of the Genesis and Sega CD, I have one hooked up on one outlet, and one on another. So between needing the controller to reach the couch, and the AV cords to reach the TV, the Genesis/SCD combo is like in the middle of the room being pu...

Re: First impressions of Eternal Blue

I'm still alive! I'm part way through EB at this point (died in the Meribian Sewers and haven't come back to it in a day or so). One thing I had forgotten about the originals was how distinct each game was. I know we've talked about it before, but TSS feels raw and literally like you're playing thro...

Re: First impressions of Eternal Blue

I actually got power cords for my Genesis and Sega CD over the Christmas break to see if the systems still worked. I would say it's been 12 years since I last played either TSS or EB. Which is sad considering EB is still my favorite game of all time. That said, I started through TSS a few days ago. ...

Re: Nintendo Switch console revealed!

Did anyone watch the presentation last night? I randomly remembered it was going on about 20 minutes in, right before Super Mario Odyssey was shown. Zelda obviously looks gorgeous and I dropped a bunch of Best Buy gift cards on a pre-order last night for the system. Mainly to play Zelda. But the new...

Re: This Christmas: The Wham! Challenge

I really wasn't sure either, Alun. I have my own Christmas music collection, so I rarely listen to radio, etc. But I've taken to listening to a few YouTube playlists this year to see if I want to buy some new songs, and it randomly came up. I recognized the song. I just never knew it was the infamou...

I was listening to the a Pentatonix Christmas mix on Saturday on YouTube and it randomly played. Stupid YouTube.

Re: News posts very glitchy

Sorry, been really busy as of late. I finally fixed it a while back. Any time we update the boards, the news posts usually go screwy, and there's a small update I have to do to get them working. I just couldn't remember what that update was for a while!

Re: New Home

Congrats! Looks like a great home! My wife and I bought one back in October as well. There's nothing better than knowing you own, rather than rent. Until something breaks of course. :) But even then, when you figure out how to fix something, it's a nice feeling!

7. Meet GhaleonOne. This has been a goal of mine every year, since 1995. I haven't given up yet! Hah - maybe I'll meet you in China someday then. My goals are mostly related to my photography business: 1) Increasing my business income to at least 25% of my yearly income from my business vs "re...

Re: Zombie Invasion on Facebook!

I second Kizyr's comments about it being cult-like at times. I've had some friends jump in to various MLM (Amyway comes to mind specifically) who go to the giant conferences some of them will put on. These friends will come back with stories from the conference talking about how the leaders said &qu...

Re: Shenmue 3 Kickstarter

Random comment, as I've never even played Shenmue, but I didn't know you ran a school in Guilin, Wd. That's pretty cool! Isn't that where the beautiful karst mountains are? I always found the fishermen who use the cormorants to fish really fascinating. It's a place I'd love to visit someday!

I actually clicked the link because I probably haven't seen that page in many years. It's crazy how tiny it is now on my nice shiny Mac screen vs the small resolutions of 1999 PCs. lol Of course, I can't talk. LunarNET is still built in archaic tables and SEO un-friendly out-dated Flash. Glad bot pe...

Wolfgang Landgraf pages back online!

A couple of months ago, we had to take down the Wolfgang Landgraf pages for Lunar, Phantasy Star, Shining Force and others due to hosting issues. Thankfully, someone has stepped forward to host these great sites and are now back online at the site below:

Re: About Wolfgang Landgraf's RPG site...

That would be great actually. I have heard from Wolfgang and we agreed if I could find someone to host it, I'd be happy to upload the entire set of his sites and then redirect the original subdomain (http://rpg-home.lunar-net.com) to the new location. If you're up for hosting it, I think he'd be ver...
