Re: Overly formal language is overly formal...
For "let's ride forgotten", you have to read it in context with the rest of the stanza. It means that they'll be forgotten by the passing of time as they venture into the faraway horizon, I imagine. As for which version is "better", I suppose it mostly comes down to personal pref...

Re: My Lunar: SSH review 6/10
My one major annoyance is the way that turn order is reworked. While it's nice that there's a bit of randomness to it so that the strategy isn't always exactly the same, it's really annoying when you get a single sword swipe followed by all the enemies attacking in quick succession. They should've j...

Re: Story changes
I rather liked the tea and cooking scenes. It gives you more of a sense that there's an actual relationship between the girls (Jessica, Mia, and Luna) that would truly prompt the sadness and tearful reunion at the end.

Re: North American Sales
Yeah, I'd be careful there. I know a lot of people say it's only slightly inaccurate, but according to the NPD, I'm pretty sure the numbers for Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology (another PSP title) are off by almost 100k copies.

Re: Estpolis: The Lands cursed by the Gods
I don't import, but I must note that as I saw info for this game coming out, I was pretty disgusted by Tia's redesign. <_< Looked interesting aside from that, though! Still, I'm not too sure about the switch in gameplay mechanics. It seems fun, but I always liked the pretty classic turn-based system...

Re: Game Arts Interview: Lunar 3 will "depend on the fans"
Actually, I think GameArts could do it fairly well. My apprehension has always been with JAM. They were fine with the remakes because they already had something good to work from, but didn't they play a much larger role than GameArts proper in Dragon Song? I feel like they're not very good at actual...

Honestly, I felt this actor more properly exemplified SSSC/EBC Ghaleon. Truitt was great for TSS, but I always felt he was too snobby and, well, obviously evil for the rewritten character. I think this actor maintains the aloofness while not being quite so, eh, snide.

Re: Shigema's Been Talking about the NA Release
I tend to agree with GhaleonOne. Quite a short prologue which makes it seem more like a teaser. I wish they had made it longer but if we will get a new game involving Dyne fighting the Insane Black Dragon and losing his power then I would be happy. I'm pretty sure that version of the events surroun...

Re: New Lunar 2 tie-ins? (possible spoilers)
Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's just Althena and the dragons with stylized stars and clouds around them. I'd always assumed they came in the Fortress (or, now, Azure City) and were meant to return by the same means, particularly since it's always been called the Magic City in Japanese.

Re: How old is Quark?
Aside from the fact that the people of Lunar worship Althena as a goddess, I've never actually thought of her as one. To be sure, she has powers that go beyond those of normal humans, but at the same time, I don't see how it could be argued that she created the whole Blue Star when she doesn't even ...

@sux2bme: Apparently, you can still offer up the Fortune Cane. Not sure if it still results in you getting the better cane later, though. I'm not there yet. @ShindoW: I thought it was the reverse? Like, you have to buy the Reminiscer first. If you buy out the bromides, he closes shop and you can't g...

Re: Anyone put their soundtrack in iTunes yet?
Fine by me, though as I said, in those two spots I'm uncertain on, I'm sure someone will come along and point out a really obvious alternative that I somehow screwed up. In fact, I already made one change of "trail out" -> "stray aloud" since the idea of the redundancy there just...

Re: Anyone put their soundtrack in iTunes yet?
Speaking of which, is there a lyric listing in the CD booklet? I haven't actually opened the CD yet, just listened to the tracks online. So far I've got these written down as what I've heard: Far away, far away, Beyond the bounds where light fades from day, Bestride white wings forgotten By the wind...

For some reason, they've done early shipping with a lot of guides lately. I remember getting the Tales of Vesperia guide several days before the actual game's release and being able to spill lots of localization info. XD

Haha I love how Lunar Eclipse is calling SP a zealot when his comments were the ones that brought Vic to this thread: http://www.lunarthreads.com/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=4402&start=45 Yes, it's clearly my fault that he randomly decided to show up when I made the same general comments about the...
