The glory of being a used car salesman. Part of the reason he may have upped the price is because your mother was insistent upon you getting a car right that instant. By then, the dealer knew that your need for a car was great, and so he figured he could raise the price without as much risk of you w...
There's also a Dragon Staff, found in Althena's Tower. If you believe that the above items are actual Dragonmaster equipment, the existence of the staff is rather interesting, especially with it being found in the Tower. Maybe some past Dragonmaster was a mage... Zounds! You're right! This forces a...
There isn't much of a world going on in Dragon Song, so a map would be kind of a waste considering how small the game world is. A cell animation or some kind of art, or poster would be nice. I have to disagree. The world and different continents in Dragon Song figure more importantly than they have...
That's not really a problem with the Lunar series. By and large, WD does an extremely accurate job with their translations. Most of the NPC comments like that were kept intact; the only time humour was inserted was for useless or non sequiter comments by NPCs. KF
Ys had cutscenes in the SNES versions, no voice though. Tales of Phantasia had vocals (and an opening song) on the Super Famicom. Some TG-16 RPGs as well had cutscenes, didn't they? I'm sure Rune would be able to give a more complete list; these are only a few of the major ones. KF
I guess FF7's popularity had nothing to do with Lunar's re-release. I'm kind of relieved by that since I always felt like FF7 stole the idea of cutscenes from the Sega CD Lunars anyway. ... How ? There were RPGs both before and after Lunar that had cutscenes in them. Ever since there was the abilit...
Well, I'm have no clue about gaming programs, but couldn't it be possible to just change some of the coding around to make the game run on another gaming consel? Of course, that probably isn't possible for the older games, but look at games that are released for the "GC, Xbox, and PS2!" Not really....
I would love to see a female Dragonmaster, but I wouldn't enjoy seeing one just to have a girl as the leading character - that kind of plot usually lends to some excessesive zeal (as in, "next we need a black Vul- ehr, I mean, Dragonmaster"). There always was a Black Vulcan. Except he didn't want t...
I don't know that I can agree with the analysis of the TSS cast. Both Jessica and Nash were decent fighters -- there's a point in the game where Nash is actually a stronger fighter than Alex at the same level with the best equipment they have at the time, or at least that was the case with the last...
There are other ways, I'm sure. But the characteristics of a Dragonmaster would be very specific. In TSS, anyone besides Alex really wouldn't be Dragonmaster material. Kyle had zero magic potential and was a bit too hasty in his decisions. Nash was too arrogant (though he improved) and had zero stre...
There was that entire bit at the end of Legend where you had to go through the "ark" that transported the humans from the Blue Star to Lunar. So, they had the relics in the beginning which explained what happened and how Althena brought them here. KF
