Gabryel, because she's the only one of the three that occasionally suggests there might be some point in having anyone but Jian in the party to fight with.
(single most annoying thing about this game, dern it!)
And I have to agree that she's also the most attractive of the three, and has something actually hinting at a backstory and personality. And the concept of Althena with pink hair...really, any hair color but blue...is unbelievably weak.

Meh, the age of consent can be 8 years old, but to me, it would still be wrong as a 22 year old... so yeah, they shall forever be jail bait.

I don't, but you had to admit she got the short stick of the gaming world. She has lame attack power, is slow, and she says like 2 things during the whole game. She has no back story, no good jokes, and goes around being all "meh". The only person who did worst was Rufus who also barely got any time and died in the middle of the game. I did like her design though, She just needed a personality inside it (and that is not her fault people).
I liked Gaby the best. Lucia needed blue hair and another name that starts with L (like Linda, for example) but I did liked that she was willing to try to smack the chauvinistic out of Jian (try being the key word).
And I agree with whoever said that this game would have been better with Gaby as a dragon master. That would have been different. Maybe instead of a romantic storyline it would have had Althena as Gaby's human friend. They have to deal with the prejudice and it's about helping a buddy who just got kidnapped. I also would have had a Vile tribe member casting black magic in the team.
