New thing I noted

Post by Angelalex242 »

As I replayed this game, I noticed, in my talking to random people, a very interesting factoid.

When you first reach Leephon City, you can talk to everyone in every house.

In one of the houses, one of the beast girls says something to the effect of 'A beast girl falls in love only once her whole life. Her first love is her only love.'

If this is to be taken seriously...

I wonder if it affects Jessica (Who's only half beast) and Mauri (who's full beast) in later games.
Don't blame me, Lucia promised me lots of snuggles and cuddles if I would be her PR guy.

Mauri and Ronfar are childhood friends; in the novels, etc. Jessica and Kyle are childhood friends; Senia and her fiancee... yep, childhood friends. Nothing to contradict that claim. ^_^

Given the way the fantasy genre works out... everyone's first love is their true love. I can't think of any counterexamples, beastman or human. KF

Lufia 2 is the only RPG I can think of that goes against that.

I can think of one other game where the non childhood friend arguably won...(FF7, Aerith)

But we're talking about beastgirls, here...

It's an interesting trick of biology, if it's literal.

ff6, granted Locke's love was DEAD. (BATMAN!)

Chrono and Marle weren't childhood friends.

Nor were Dagger and Zidane, though Freya and that rat guy she's hung up on were.

Quina and Vivi = OTP

Hiro and Lucia weren't childhood friends.

But if you're talking about a game where the person does not get with their established Love Interest... that would be more difficult to find one.

Best example I can come up with is Vay, because Elaine/Elin is WTFPWNed.
The Infamous Jenner!
Maker of Lists.
RIP Coley...
