List of places to find items

Just a thought here, but I've decided to create a thread for people to list places you can find specific items for delivery. Might be of some help to people trying to find certain things.

Didn't want to start a new topic, but this is becoming annoying. Where the hell do I find wood? I've been searching all over to complete the stupid mission.

This doesn't help directly, but some of the missions involve item drops from enemies you haven't encountered yet. Which kind of sucks since you can't get out of a mission without a penalty.

BTW, I'm definately going to start putting together a list of all the materials with the locations they can be found. I'll have a FAQ up tonight.

I made a table of all of the named characters as I went (except story people), by the way, for reference in doing jobs. Of course, some names are guesses or even completely a mystery to me, but I noted down the kana as well, so if Kizyr would like to go through it and correct the ones I didn't quite get I'm happy to provide it. Although it might be best to break it up by city in case the full listing would constitute spoilers -- though NPC names and city names don't tell much.

Well, I was just going to do a very simple listing of items. Not really anything on the jobs. I've noticed on GameFAQs, there are dozen's of people asking where to find x item. Comprising a location list for it would be helpful to a lot of people. I don't personally have time to keep up with anything more to be honest. So with that said, here's a list of what I have so far:

If I remember correctly you can get wood from Roland Forest. Hope that helps.

Yeah, I have one or two pieces and I think they came from Roland. The major one that continues to elude me is the Cow Bone. I thought I might be able to buy it on the central continent, but no dice.

You can also get 3 bone swords from Delrich Temple from 3 of the grave stones but I haven't seen them anywhere else.

Perhaps, then, it's also possible to find the cow bone. I didn't realize that the items could be hidden like that. It doesn't seem likely that an enemy would drop a cow bone, at any rate.

Cow Bone is one of the hardest things to find. I never could figure out where to pick them up exactly... Best thing to do is not to take any jobs that require it at this point. KF

Cow Bone is supposedly a rare drop in Roland Forest. That's according to one of the GameFAQs posts though... heh.

Strange question, where do you find some Honey? I decided to do the first job after I defeated Sasquatch... oh, btw, does anyone know if someone plans on publishing a strat guide for Dragon's Song?

Roland Forest. They drop easily. I've already gotten 2 honey's from enemies.

Haven't heard of anything official in either language, but Kiz was thinking earlier of doing a walkthrough, and I took notes as I played the import and made the abovementioned chara table. Perhaps we could at least post a few things like that on LNet -- NPC locations, item drop locations, monster cards if we got really ambitious. There isn't, unfortunately, much to say about battle strategy.
