Lost cards

I've been playing up to the halfway point in the story, and I've already lost two vital cards. Is there any way to get them back, or are they gone forever? :( If so, I'll have to start from scratch. Not good. :cry:

Getting 'em back is easy enough. Kill any enemy that looks roughly like the one you got 'em from in the first place, and you'll get your card back.
Don't blame me, Lucia promised me lots of snuggles and cuddles if I would be her PR guy.

Yeah, I found that out when I returned to Thieves' Woods. I feel stupid now. Oh well, back to the game.
