I think i may know what has happened. I did all that, but before I found my way to the tavern I gathered everyone up. So it may not have activated a trigger showing up with everyone meaning bridge not collapsed...or talkin at tavern without everyone, collecting them gives him a chance to show up. I don't know.

I went and did # things I downloaded his vid and even put my Party set up Like his
BUT
I finally got it work
He showed up after I talked to the collector 3 TIMES in a row
and he showed up
Am VARY glad I dont have start over -_-

I just literally encountered this (and have no idea why I haven't in previous play throughs of this game). Anyways, thank you very much, I had to go talk to the collector and everything panned out fine. Not to discredit the others who tried to help, I just wanted to personally thank you for helping me.
