It looks like it's an automated find-and-replace kind of thing, with "the heathen goddess" replacing the name of Alex's sweetie when she's being a career woman and "the less-talented heathen goddess" replacing the one who takes millennia-long naps inside rocks. 'Cause, y'know, computers are tools of evil and all that, so they do the Architect of Anarchy's work for him.
