Saw that the lovely Jenny Stigile Magallanes (guess she's married now?) uploaded this on Youtube the other day. It's of her singing the WD version of The Boat Song. Not a bad job.

I kind of wish they'd used someone else in SSH. Everyone else had different voices, so it'd have been nice to hear some new singing. As long as they did it as well as she did...

Yeah very lovely Id say. I also listened to the Japanese versions of those songs on youtube, and many people commented that the Japanese versions were way better. But truth be told... These songs were literally written in Japanese style in terms of lyrics and melody, and apparently game developers wont bother spending a huge amount of money composing a different song in American/Euro style hiring American/European pop singers. Of course Japanese singers are better suited for songs like these, and thats why the Japanese versions appear to be better.
