Bah, what of the old myths that speak of heroes who were 2/3 divine and 1/3 human? I'm thinking of Gilgamesh and Achilles. Nothing inheritedly wrong with demi-humans is there? If anything, they serve maybe as role models, or something.
But then again, why would Luna's child inherit Althena's powers? Wouldn't they just kinda disperse to everyone else when she gave up her Goddess status? (I'd picture a generation or two of just exceptionally bright and happy children before it all averages out so that the common person of EB's time is superior to a commoner in TSS time, though in all respects they are just commoners.) Isn't that what Lucia draws out of everyone when she's about to confront Zophar?
I could see Lucia's child having her mother's powers as nobody's up there on the Blue Star to give them to (on a massive scale), but then again her efforts are to heal it.

Heaven does not speak. It simply showed its will by his personal conduct and his conduct of affairs.

What of them? Those aren't Lunar myths.
The argument about Luna not having the powers to pass on really only works with SSSC's storyline. In EB the recorded message is of Althena, not Luna, and in both EB and EBC there's that stupidly prescient letter to Hiro. So Luna clearly is not completely lacking in superhuman powers. (She also, of course, had no particular philosophical reason in TSS to give up her powers, which is why it was a surprise in EB to find out that she had.)
I agree with G1 that Nall would have kept tabs on their descendants. Ghaleon maintained contact with five or six generations of Ausas, after all. See the interview question in the SSS artbook:
19. After he was separated from Alex, did Nall live with anybody?
After Alex and Luna's lives as humans came to an end, Nall was very lonely.
He wandered all over Lunar, met many people, and got caught up in an
adventure that rivaled the war against Ghaleon, but he couldn't find anyone
to whom to he felt he could pass the Althena's Sword that Alex entrusted to
him. He probably eventually came to think that Alex was the last worthy
Dragonmaster.
Finally, depressed and alone, Nall remembered the ancient Grindery and
founded a "Kingdom Where Time Has Stopped" consisting only of children,
which took his mind off his sadness.

You know, that adventure that rivals the war against Ghaleon might make for a good gaiden game...
