Mini game up on Japanese site

Post by DevNall »

Not exactly sure what you're supposed to do, but hey...

EDIT: You can walk around Meribia, which is kind of neat in and of itself.

EDIT 2: Interesting files used by the minigame:
Music: 1 | 2 | 12 | 23 | 27
Video: 1 | 2 (play in VLC or something similiar)
Faces: Alex | Luna | Ramus | Nash | Mia | Jessica | Kyle | Nall (warning: flashes at a high speed)

Finally! I've been waiting for this to go up.

I have class tonight. But as soon as I get home later I'll make an update on it. KF

This is kinda fun, but I wish I could understand Japanese. Considering they show the FMV from when you arrive at Meribia for the first time I figured that was the portion of the game you'd be playing, but I guess not since Mia is there. o_O

Not bad....not bad at all! I like the artwork and I actually do like the 3/4 view. Although I still don't like the remake soundtrack as much as the original TSS one, these new remixes of them sound a LOT better than the PSX/Saturn ones! That was a nice little tease for us GungHo! Godo job! :)

Haha, sorry, a lot of flash resources will do that if you view them directly. Warning added!

The maps and sprites are also easily extractable, but they're harder to view in a browser.

Oh, also, is it just me or are the instruments and sound levels in Wind's Nocturne switched around a bit as well?

It's not just you :) It definitely sounds like a bit of a tweak to the original arrangement..

Has anyone completed it yet? I found all of the purple crystal, but I'm missing like 10 of the yellow ones.

I completed it yesterday.

The rules explain the crystals and all. That's going to be part of tonight's update (I hope, assuming I don't get back home too late). KF

I'm sorry but I just couldn't get into this design. Too cartoonish and no animated water. I have to zig-zag all over the flippen' place. I look like a drunk roaming the streets!

Kizyr does this mean you are going to translate for all of the poor individuals that do not speak Japanese?

Most of the rules/instructions, yeah. The actual content I don't have time to translate soon, but I may be able to this weekend (no guarantees). KF

You can hold two directions at once to walk on a diagonal.

You're missing the fundamental problem here.
WD, you need to stop playing games while you're drunk.

....(it's funny 'cause he doesn't drink) KF

Kiz is right. I was only zig-zaging because the keys were too blurry to see what I was pressing. But I disgree about playing games sober. You need to be drunk to enjoy some games. I.E. -> Wirehead.

This is such a nice treat~!
Looks like Alex is going to be a little more talkative this time around. I hope that's the case! I loved seeing all the character artwork. (Nall is so adorable! <3) The music sounds fantastic too. Oooh I wish I could enter the contest, I'd like that Lunar planetarium. :3
Thanks for the translation and update Kiz! I keep getting more and more excited!
