how many people are AWARE of that? sometimes it seems like the catholic church makes rules for the fun of it.

Admittedly, almost nobody is aware of the sources of the songs. However, even I as a totally lax Catholic who ignores much of what the Church preaches as being "archaic," for lack of a better term, feel that these rules aren't completely unreasonable, given that the Church does view marriage as a serious commitment and wants the music surrounding it to be serious, albeit also joyous. Besides, the pieces that were suggested/recommended were much nicer tunes anyway IMHO. :)

this is evidence that lunar touches souls. i have yet to meet someone who loves FF as much as lunar fans love lunar. some of the reviews i've read were so gushing with emotion that they bordered on unhealthy.

Hey, just because I sleep with and molest my Lunar games every night and have a lifesize Luna doll that I have tea with every midday, does not mean I am bordering on unhealthy. :P

As a John Paul II-loving orthodox Catholic, I must ask... can we please give the Catholic criticisms a rest in this thread? This should be a happy thread! :wink:

That said, Congrats to you and your wife, DM Lou!

Hehe, thanks... and even as a slacker Catholic, I thought JPII was pretty cool. :)

Even as a non-Christian, I liked JPII quite a bit, too. KF

A lot of us non-Catholics did too. (In a strange way he could be construed as being partly responsible for my last name being what it is.)

(c/p from the post I originally put it in)

Heck, I'm not the littlest religious, but even *I* liked him.

Paris! Awesome, hope you got plenty of photos! I forgot my battery for mine when I went on my honeymoon to Japan so I mainly got photos of buildings with what power was left ^^;

Congratulations, Lou!

For the wedding, the music, the honeymoon and.. and.. ah, yes, the bride! You're a real dragonmaster now that you married your "Diana" (LunarRPG hint ^_^).

Best regards from Spain!!

*late reply* >_>

Playing a Lunar song at a wedding? That's f'ing awesome... I'd never think of that, haha. I don't think any of my friends would get it... not too many Lunar fanatics over where I live (just assuming but I'm sure I'm right on this one).

Anyways, congrats.
