Admittedly, almost nobody is aware of the sources of the songs. However, even I as a totally lax Catholic who ignores much of what the Church preaches as being "archaic," for lack of a better term, feel that these rules aren't completely unreasonable, given that the Church does view marriage as a serious commitment and wants the music surrounding it to be serious, albeit also joyous. Besides, the pieces that were suggested/recommended were much nicer tunes anyway IMHO.Benevolent_Ghaleon wrote:how many people are AWARE of that? sometimes it seems like the catholic church makes rules for the fun of it.

this is evidence that lunar touches souls. i have yet to meet someone who loves FF as much as lunar fans love lunar. some of the reviews i've read were so gushing with emotion that they bordered on unhealthy.RPGMan wrote:Congradulations I hope you guys are happy together, and nice on playing the Lunar music

Hey, just because I sleep with and molest my Lunar games every night and have a lifesize Luna doll that I have tea with every midday, does not mean I am bordering on unhealthy.Benevolent_Ghaleon wrote:this is evidence that lunar touches souls. i have yet to meet someone who loves FF as much as lunar fans love lunar. some of the reviews i've read were so gushing with emotion that they bordered on unhealthy.RPGMan wrote:Congradulations I hope you guys are happy together, and nice on playing the Lunar music

Hehe, thanks... and even as a slacker Catholic, I thought JPII was pretty cool.JWL wrote:As a John Paul II-loving orthodox Catholic, I must ask... can we please give the Catholic criticisms a rest in this thread? This should be a happy thread!
That said, Congrats to you and your wife, DM Lou!

Even as a non-Christian, I liked JPII quite a bit, too. *late reply* >_>
Playing a Lunar song at a wedding? That's f'ing awesome... I'd never think of that, haha. I don't think any of my friends would get it... not too many Lunar fanatics over where I live (just assuming but I'm sure I'm right on this one).
Anyways, congrats.
