Wacko Jacko on the lose

Post by punkabof1 »

A jury acquitted Michael Jackson today of molesting a 13-year-old cancer survivor at his Neverland ranch, vindicating the pop star who insisted he was the victim of mother-and-son con artists and a prosecutor with a vendetta.
Jurors also acquitted him of conspiring to imprison his accuser and the boy's family at the storybook estate - a huge legal victory for the star. He was also cleared on lesser charges of supplying alcohol to a minor.

Thats sad. I bet he payed the jury so he can be free. He reminds me of the main charcter of the Catcher of the rye.[/i]

Yeah...I think it is really sad he was relieved of all charges too. I wanted to see him go to jail personally.

Nah, you don't need to give a jury money. Just a reasonable doubt. Then even if something suspicious is happening, they'll probably give a not guilty verdict. That's what happened last time I got jury duty.

Very true...Though I do believe if Michael was not a celebrity he'd be serving some kind of time in the slammer right about now.

I'm still a fan of MJ, always have been and always will be.
I'm glad he got acquitted. I think the jury came to the right decision.

Now maybe the news will shutup about it and get back to the stories that actually matter. I'm sick of the diversionary tactics and pulp news. KF

I don't think someone can pay a jury when it comes to molesting kids.

It was the kids mom. The Jury thought see was just trying to blackmail MJ. I can't remeber if it was either Jay Leno Or Connan O'Brian but apparently the mom contacted him saying something like since you have so much money would you like to donate some to my son or I 'll say you don't give to the needey or something like that... I'm not sure.

Anyway the one thing I am sure of is that he may be guilty he may not, but he is defintley a freekin WEIRDO.

P.S. Punkabof, nice Mario Jackson: MoonWalker

I don't think it's possible for any of us to actually know whether Mr. Jackson is innocent or guilty of molestation, since I'm fairly sure that none of us has ever actually been to Neverland Ranch. As it is, I'll just trust the system and believe that the jury came to the best conclusion they could with the facts they were presented.

I think Jacko should have definately been convicted of supplying alcohol to minors and showing porn to kids. I mean I believe the prosecution's case was fairly strong about that regardless of the extortionist mother. I can remember dozens of HS parties back in the day where parents got tickets for providing alcohol to minors. And they werent even in the same state at the time. That just shows that celebrities are immune to the law in certain cases. I really didnt see how they could have aquitted him of that.

That mario moonwalker thing is awesome though

Whether or not he is innocent or guilty is non of our business. Does he live right next to you and present a problem to your kids? I didn't think so. For 1, the proof of the mother being a money monger was the strongest of any proof during the case. Maybe he was guilty and he gets off scott free. Whoopity due. What if he was innocent?

Personally, I believe that he is innocent. Whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty? You retards just believe what everyone else wants you to say. Like the jock in HS that says "Damn this place sucks." Suddenly, you'll have 2,000 other students saying the same damned thing.

I didn't see any proof that he molested the boy. All I saw was a money hungary mother. Let Jackson be for crying out loud. I bet non of you would like it if I went up to you and called you a pedo. People would believe me, and no matter how hard you tried to tell people you wheren't, you'll never be looked at the same. It isn't nice. Nor is it our business.

No need to call people retards, phyco. It certainly wouldn't help convincing me.

I do agree with you though. It is innocent until proven guilty. It makes me angry, in discussions, when there's an implicit assumption that the person's guilty. Now, if someone considers the evidence and weighs it carefully, I'll listen to what they have to say, though whether I agree depends upon many different things.

As for me, I didn't hear all of the evidence, so I can't make a clear opinion of it. That's why there's a jury that focuses on the case. I believe, if they found a reasonable doubt (which they did, Undine's right), that I cannot call Michael Jackson a pedophile, unless new evidence were to come to light that would overturn the doubt.

I'm not a fan of Michael Jackson... I'm pretty neutral altogether where he's concerned. I think he looks weird, and is perhaps eccentric, but I do not judge him good or bad based on that. Have him be convicted guilty or obviously be so by evidence that I've not heard yet, and I'll reevaluate that stance.

I take personal Offence to waht Phyco said. My thoughts and feelings have always been my own. I thought he was a freak ever since I heard he bought the remains of the elephant man back in the early '90's. Does anybody remember when this happened before? I was still in elementary school. Oh and guess what ... he was found not guilty. So he is a FREAK does that make him a pedophile? No. If anything It makes him less suspect. Most sexual preadtors have no warning signs. Not be offensive, but look at the increasing number of preists accused of molestation. All them seemed completly normal and perfectly safe to be around children.

On a personal note I was the kid who sat in the back of the class wearing my black trench coat. But I was also the kid wearing the bright orange Wal-Mart shirt. The Goth kids knew me. The Thugs knew me. Everybody knew me. Even the A.P.s knew me. Why because i was always getting into fights my Sophmore year. But my senior year not only did I carry a 3.5 GPA but I helped found the Peer Counseling program at my school. And every time it was cold enough I sported my Tenchcoat. Not bad for a kid who spent a night in a crisis center after I was kicked out of my first High School. So I was sent to an inner city school since I was danger to myself and others. And I am proud of my idviduality and my accomplishments. Oh yeah and there weren't any "Jocks" at my school. All our teams sucked.

Charles. Don't sling names you're just making yourself look the same as the one who you think are being "retards."

People are allowed to have their opinion. It's good that some people out there think he's guilty because it is a fact that sometimes his behaviour around them is questionable, though I'm not sure if it's actually dangerous.
MJ had a really screwed up childhood, if he even had one. How is he supposed to know if doing this or that is considered inappropraite? I can see in many cases such things might of happened to him during his childhood. That doesn't excuse him from molesting or tramatizing small children. But, I think the mother of that son tramatized him more than MJ did. She exploited her child and even if MJ really did molest him, she threw her child to the lions anyway to get money. It's sick.

Personally, I don't understand how ANY of us have valid opinions on the matter, one way OR the other.

I wasn't involved in the situation, nor was I on the jury or on the inside of things.

I really don't even see the point of debating crap like this.

The media in this country is, on some levels, worse than the propaganda things like the USSR. Our media and news is very rarely recognizable as objective anymore.

Don't be so easily fooled, people, that you have accurate and truthful information, one way or the other.

I've been trying to avoid / turn off / tone out any information on this ridiculous ongoing thing as much as I can, out of pure weariness of hearing about it.
