The best place to find out about 4-chan is probably here at encyclopedia dramatic. I tried to goof around on 4chan but the porn adds all over it scared me away upon clicking. From what I saw it apparently had NO topics, to threads, it was just a massive chaos of random posts thrown onto the internet with no way I could find to truly peruse them. Perhaps there's more to it and I was just spooked off by exteriors, or, perhaps it just shows my old people habits. I am confused by this internets y'see.
