LunarNET v10 is officially live!

Post by GhaleonOne »

LunarNET is officially 10 years old now! And with that, I'm going to bed. I spent all day yesterday on the coach due to a nasty stomach flu. So I had to make up 2 days worth of LunarNET work in one day to get this thing live. Unfortunately, a few things didn't quite make it in time, but they'll all be up within a week or so. But for now, I need rest. I'm exhausted and I don't want to get any sicker from lack of sleep. Have a good Christmas!

If you find any errors, let me know, as I'm sure there are tons. This turned into more of a rush-job than I had hoped for today.

Awesome job on the new layout, it looks great. A few problems for me though. I can't click on any of the links to the left on the main page, and the pic at the top-middle of the site is just blank for me, I can only see the button that says click here to pause. (Tried the new site on both computers and get the same problems.) Anyone else having these problems?

I not having any of the problems you listed Alex_Pwns_Hiro, in IE or Firefox. Do you have the latest flash installed?

I like the new layout, it makes the website look so awesome and new. Happy aniversary Lunar Net!

Hmmmm, that's strange. What browser and what version of Flash do you have installed. Not that it should matter. Everything is Flash 8, but there's a built in sniffer that should detect if you have it or not, and if not, it should be displaying alternative graphics in place of any Flash.

I'm having the same problem that Alex_Pwns_Hiro is having with the image not showing. I just installed the latest Flash, and I'm still getting nothing. I'm using Firefox 2.0.0.11. Is anyone else using this version of Firefox? This is weird because this worked for me when I checked it out on the beta. Did you modify it since then? I was using an older version of Firefox at that time too I believe, so I'm assuming it may just not work with this version.

Oh, BTW, thanks for doing this, G1! It looks great.

Edit: This is weird. I checked the beta version, and it still works perfectly for me. Is it something to do with the server?

Perhapes this can be a cookie or related problem?

Sorry for the double post, but I've figured out the problem. I figure that was worth a double post :D. It works if you go to "www.lunar-net.com" instead of "lunar-net.com." Deja vu.

Aw snap, you just solved it Werefrog. I know exactly what it is now. Not sure how quickly I'll have it fixed, but soon.

I hope you don't give the flu to coach! :O

Seriously, though, this site is beautiful, as always. I've lurked, I've poked my nose in, & I've always been impressed. I don't know what was changed with v10, but I know that the site as a whole is fantastic, & after all is said & done, isn't that the goal?

Happy 10th birthday!!! ^0^

Such a lovely new layout too! I'm so glad this site is still going strong after 10 years!
I hope there will be many more to come! :D Thank you for putting so much hard work and dedication into the site for so long G1! I'm glad Lunar fans can have this wonderful corner of the web to come to for all their Lunar needs. Not to mention the threads, it's great to share my love of Lunar with other people. :D

I'm going to shut off the super sap beams now. xD

This is quite possibly one of the best web designs I've ever seen.

layout, balance of center of attention, and color are all freakin' perfect.

I will, however, cast a vote for a darker forum theme, though.
