Re: Nobi's diet blog of dictation, observations, and suggestions
It's been kinda maintain-y this week. My sister graduated so it's been taking a lot of work just to not fly right back up. I was 219.2 this morning so I have gone up, but I had a good day today (I think?) so hopefully I"ll be back down tomorrow.
I stopped posted what I was eating everyday because I realized it was basically the same every day mostly. At this point I'm reserving this thread for weekly weigh-ins and other observations if something happens that's out of the ordinary.

Re: Nobi's diet blog of dictation, observations, and suggestions
Well, this week's kind of a wash, didn't really lose anything. But I suppose the important part is that I didn't really gain either.
Last week's weigh in Saturday: 218.1 lbs.
Last weeks' measure in Saturday: 41 inches (measured from belly button, parallel to floor)
This week's weigh in Saturday: 217.8 lbs.
This week's measure in Saturday: 41 inches
It makes sense though, considering I lost 3.6 lbs last week, this week is kinda like my body saying "Woah there, slow down little buddy!" I was really good though all things considered (my sister's graduation, so there was celebration etc.)

Re: Nobi's diet blog of dictation, observations, and suggestions
I thought muscle was a good thing. Muscles burn more calories at rest, making it easier in the longer term to lose or maintain weight, if I remember right. It's good enough so that a little weight fluctuation shouldn't be too bad.

When I try to lose weight, I don't look at weight so much as stomach size.

Re: Nobi's diet blog of dictation, observations, and suggestions
Huh. I honestly didn't think I was gonna have a good weigh in this week. I must have been really good (well, obviously I TRIED to be...), I mean better than I expected. Plus the muscles finally stopped being tight so that probably explains a lot.
Last week's weigh in Saturday: 217.8 lbs.
Last weeks' measure in Saturday: 41 inches (measured from belly button, parallel to floor)
This week's weigh in Saturday: 216.8 lbs.
This week's measure in Saturday: Just a smidgen less than 41 inches
Back on pace, life is good.

Musta lost weight somewhere other than my gut, 'cause, well, it's not there. XD

This week's weigh in Saturday: 214.8 lbs.

It's weird, I'll go the entire week and be stuck at 216 every morning, but then on weigh in day it'll finally go down.
I wonder what's up with that?

Water weight. Really, weight's just one of those things that fluctuates like that. Not to mention that if you're exercising regularly, you can be trading fat for muscle, which can offset some of the weight you lose (as we all know muscle weighs more than fat). KF

That's very true, it's just odd that it always magically happens the right way come Saturday. I wonder what it is I'm doing on Friday... I'm not eating any less/more...
Ah well, whatever works I suppose. XD

Ugh, went up like I thought I would. Thankfully it was less than a pound, but still, gotta kick it in gear. Plus I'm getting my tooth pulled today. Not fun. D:

Well, you've been making pretty good progress on the large scale, so this little slide isn't too bad. Sorry about the gastritis though, oof.

Especially, if it's that heavy water. (Bam! A chemistry joke)Kizyr wrote:Water weight. Really, weight's just one of those things that fluctuates like that. Re: Nobi's diet blog of dictation, observations, and suggestions
Well, I got a molar pulled on Saturday, spent most of Sunday in bed and nauseous, and this morning I was 212.2. Go figure.
Not that I'm looking to have any more teeth pulled in the near future (or ever for that matter...)

Re: Nobi's diet blog of dictation, observations, and suggestions
Much better. Though part of this is definitely attributed to my having a tooth pulled and spending the better part of two days in bed.

Re: Nobi's diet blog of dictation, observations, and suggestions
Yes, but that was a week ago right? You would have put that lost weight back on by now for the most part. Likely you'll just see a plateau next week. Course, I could be totally wrong and you'll lose 2 pounds.
