Well, after Alex and gang sighed after having viewed an eclipse of the sun by the Blue Star, they asked me to upload my view from the Blue Star. As such, here are the pictures.

Darn it, Charles, you beat me to it. Though mainly it's because I forgot to post this yesterday.

We didn't think we'd be able to see it because of the massive clouds and such swathing all of the West Coast (and most of the rest of the country too, it seems) but it did mostly clear up in time for my husband to sit outside for an hour or so taking pictures. Occasionally clouds did come through and again we thought we might miss the fullest point, but we didn't...

(He'll be putting more up eventually but sized and sent that one out the same night, which is why I feel stupid for not posting it earlier.)

Though if you want to see an amazing one taken by a photographer in Florida who has a motorized telescope to move with the sky and take long exposures:

I sat out and watched it about as well as I could considering the overcast skies here in SC. It was still amazing to watch though, that's for sure.

We had a snowstorm all night. I wish I could have seen it. Well, I wouldn't have stayed up for it anyway.

I missed it, i really wanted to see it too. It was really cloudy here that night and we went to be around 11.
That's a really good picture Alunissage.

Now those pictures are what I'm talking about! I would love to have the equipment that the guy in Florida had, but I'm curious as to the lens size that your husband used?

My camera isn't so great, but here are the very fuzzy shots I managed to take. KF
