BTW, our friend Shigema tweeted Lunar-related Valentines stories recently about how back in the TSS days he single-handedly ate all the chocolate Kikuko Inoue (Luna's VA) sent to the team. But the rest of the team found out and they've never let him live it down.

Another thing - as of this writing there's chatter going on about another Lunar 2 remake, and Shigema tweets that he'd really like to do what he terms a "Mega CD respect version". I'm not really sure what that means, but I am sure I want it.

Thanks! Yeah, can't read Japanese except for a few simple words here and there, so my ability to truly "follow" him is limited, but good to know that you're keeping us informed on what he's up to of interest. I would love a "Mega CD respect version" of either Lunar game, to be honest.

Picked up my new car on V-day. Bummed about having a new car payment, but I got my money's worth out of the old car (it lasted for 7+ years and over 184k miles).

My car's still in the shop (transmission trouble, ooooh), so I ended up just walking to the nearest restaurant with my date a day after Valentine's Day (because we were busy that day!) and having a good dinner. She's giving me a bag to keep my Carcassonne game tiles in. I gave her a book, a box of chocolates, and half a chocolate easter bunny. (Inside joke.)

Yeah I'm late, oh well.

I have someone special to me, and I still hate this holiday.

The day after Valentine's Day trumps the holiday itself, I think. Cheap candy FTW!

The holiday is only good for the candy.

Best = chocolate rice krispie hearts that come in the polka dot foil wrapper.
Worst = chalky "Be Mine" hearts

Ah, love. Today in class we read the myth of Selene and Endymion. A kid asked me how they had kids if he's eternally asleep. I said ask the health teacher.

^ My answer would be to tell them to look up somnophilia.

There's probably a reason why I'm teaching college students.
