Illinois anime convention

Don't really know if this is where I should put this or not. If not, please move it to the right area. ^-^;

Well, I'm planning on going to an anime convention with my friends this year in Illinois (Benefit of living in southern Wisconsin, +1!) and I was thinking "Hey, why don't I go as Lemina, since she is probably the one Lunar character I look the most like."

I've come here to ask for assistance. I am horrible when it comes to gathering materials to make a costume. I essentially know what I gotta do for the outfit, but would anyone like to suggest what materials I should think of, and give me an idea of where I should look?

I would highly suggest visiting http://www.cosplay.com You'll probably get the most info there and may even be able to talk to people who've already cosplayed as Lemina
