As for the series, there was the original 4 disc release and later, a second box set. Get the latter if you can since it has the box already included (and its prettier). =D I don't think its that hard to find now, is it? 0.0
No, it's not hard to find, but it's pretty expensive. I went ahead and got the one with the pretty box, but it set me back about $130. It should arrive next week! Incidentally, are the other things ABE worked on worth checking out?

Motoi Sakuraba - Resolution ~ Pure a Stream

Star Ocean: The Second Story Arranged was another beautiful album. Sakuraba is one of my favorite composers. I hope he does Golden Sun DS.

HikariOmoi wrote:Thanks for the link! I've been listening to Monkey Majik all day now! XD; I really like their song "卒業、そして未来へ。" The only problem is that I don't know what that translates into Romaji, though, so I can't tell people "I like this song!" outloud. >.>;

Also, interesting fact: They two main singers are Canadian. I was totally shocked (and proud!).
You might have already figured out the song's name by now but if not it is "Sotsugyou, soshite mirai he" meaning 'Graduation and into beyond'

The song that is stuck in my head is the Sailor Moon opening for the English version. I don't know why I get songs like this stuck in my head...(too much nostalgia) anyways. After this, it would be 'If...' by Da Pump

I'm at my mom's, in the middle of nowhere and outside city limits. At the moment, I'm listening to gospel music waft through my window. At 12:30 AM.

Tomorrow I'm taking some speakers outside and exposing my mom's neighbor (yes, singular) to Chromelodeon, the Pillows, and Symphony X. Paradise Lost for extra offensiveness.

This is war.

I'm listening to The Flaming Lips' Embryonic. The more I listen to it, the more it grows on me. The first listen was very "wtf?", because like all Flaming Lips albums, it doesn't sound much like their previous work. Very bass-heavy, rhythm-focused, and transcendently spacey in a Pink Floyd sort of way. "Watching the Planets" is particularly amazing.

Anyway, right at this very moment,

Cool idea for a thread.

Loreena McKennitt is my favorite artist and played most days, but right now my obsession is with David Arkenstone's 'Atlantis' album, especially the beautiful 'Fire and Water' track. I'd love to choreograph a dance to it one day, maybe with different costumes for the fast 'Fire' and the dreamy 'Water' halves.
This is either madness, or brilliance- Will Turner
It's remarkable how often those traits coincide- Captain Jack Sparrow, Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl

My favorite new discovery: The xx. Their debut self-titled album is amazing. Mellow, haunting, minimalist rock music.

Get the album. Listen to it from beginning to end. It's the best new album I've heard in years.

I'm really digging Gold Guns Girls by Metric. One of the better songs I've heard in the last few months. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pYLjHhSOE7s

Hey, my Last.fm radio played that song earlier this week. I think I was listening to their "indie" tag station. I can't remember exactly. (I might have been listening to my recommendation radio. Last.fm tends to recommend a lot of Canadian stuff since I listen to Arcade Fire a lot).

I've been listening to this song, Bloodbuzz Ohio. by the National a lot lately: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IprgVNlFIqM. It's on their album High Violet due out May 11th.

Just started randomly buying CD's off CD Baby again. This time I got one called "About Water" which features songs by 17 different international artists. Totally diggin' the first song, Pani. Maybe I'll start getting into Indian music.

I'm on a Joe Hisaishi kick again. Right now it's "Ashitaka and San" off the Princess Mononoke Symphonic Suite.

Good song though I like "Time to Pretend" more.

Right now I really like Violent Soho - Jesus stole my girlfriend.

I heard that song by Violent Soho a while back on Woxy (defunct indie rock station). Its title really makes me laugh.

Lovely album. Here's a link where one can listen to the whole thing, courtesy of Magnatune. Best music store on the entire internet.
