I just spent some time with a friend of mine who's visiting from Iowa. He sold his PSP right before SSH came out, so he never got a chance to listen to the redone music. Well, he has now!

Consequently, I'm on an Iwadare kick.

One of my friends suggested listening to the beautiful rhythms of Annbjørg Lien, a fantastically gifted fiddler. I love how she fuses Norwegian music with other world tunes, and played her song 'Old Larry' about three times on the ride home.

It makes me want to pick up my viola again.

My boss got me listening to Deadmau5 lately. He's pretty good, if you're into that kind of electro/techno music scene.

We both want to go rave it up at one of his shows.

I'm currently listening to Led Zeppelin and The Rolling Stones. Oldies but Greaties. ^_^

I just bought Fleetwood Mac's 'Go Your Own Way' and Journey's 'Don't Stop Believing' for inspiration. If one can't find a path, forge your own. 8-)

Video isn't an official video since there is no official video for the song, but it's still a fantastic song.

Actually, now that I think about it...I think my video game soundtrack posts outnumber my "normal" music posts.

Eternal Loneliness - 2nd Tekkaman Blade OP

Now for some shameless nerdery...an anime song from an almost 20 year old show. I used to watch the dub on TV when I was junior high aged. They changed the title to Teknoman.

It's funny, years ago I HATED the first Tekkaman Blade opening song and thought the 2nd was only a mild improvement. Now, I think the 1st song is meh and the 2nd song is EPIC.

Ugh, stupid Facebook and it's like. Every time I see a post with something I like but nothing more to say, I just want to like it.

i've been in a Bon Jovi mood as of late, and "It's My Life" has been playing non-stop in the background.

I personally like "Blaze of Glory" myself, at one point I used to know the lyrics and sing it pretty well (from a lyrical point of view at least). Granted, Blaze of Glory was the first song I truly liked, whenever it came on the Jukebox in the laundry mat in Germany I would run and sit right next to it. It was also my very fist CD I have ever gotten later that Christmas. I was either in Kindergarten or 1st grade.

Lets see, a song that would be used for today (for me at least). Meh, one of the newer songs that I really like right now. Eminem's "Love the Way You Lie" - Featuring Rihanna

Yasunori Mitsuda is a genius. <333

And for something completely unrelated; (to Mitsuda)

(but completely relevant to my drunken situation right now...)
