Day 1 of Ohayocon is finished and everyone's winding down. Here's the story thusfar:
Lunar at Ohayocon? A huge success! Amazingly enough, the room I'm staying at is also Dark Althena's. As I traveled through the con, so many people recognized me and love the series (Lunar). The day started with a small photoshoot of me and Dark Althena. I met up with a Nall, a board member lunar fan of lunar-net (Sorry I don't remember your name!), and at one point a Lucia (Hi Miri!). Eventually, we had a photoshoot at 7:30 in the evening. Attending was:

Lunar-net board member girl
Dark Althena
Hiro
Jessica
Lucia
Luna
Nall (Human)

We told everyone about the lunar threads so hopefully this place will pick up soon. I took many photos and also have a nice "boat song" singalong with Luna, Dark Althena, and Lucia in the background. Unfortunately they started singing out of nowhere so I started recording half-way through the song. Either way, once I get a USB cable I'll be uploading all of these to the web to share. And yes Jenner, I put the green makeup on the right side this time :p

I want to see how the costume came out.

And if you believe that one, there's a bridge for sale ;)

The lunar-net board member girl was me!!! :D
As if gushing over the Nall cosplayer didn't give it away.
YAY I FINALLY met with some members of L-Net! I was euphoric. xD
Everyone looked AMAZING. The costumes were beautiful and seeing the whole group together made me incredibly happy. I wish I could've joined in. I really loved hanging out with everyone during the photoshoot and singing the boat song together!
Again, I just about DIED over the Nall cosplayer.

Haha, anyway, my pictures are coming soon.
I too just got home from a long drive and need to recover from sleep deprivation first.

EDIT: Haha, I'm barely in that boat song video on the right of the screen. You can bet I was singing along too! xD

I gotta admit, whoever did that Nall did a badarse job on the outfit. Loved the hair.

The Dark Althena outfit was, as expected, hot.

That's truly the best Nall costume I've ever seen.

...we really gotta finally get around to a Cosplay section update now. There's a bunch of photos I've been meaning to put up, too. KF

It's shaping up to be quite the sweet costume...

I didn't notice Dark Althena having fangs in the FMVs. But apparently, Nall's her lunch anyway.

Those aren't fangs actually. It's just the position of the camera hehe

Wow, that Nall really IS good.

Are there any cons closer to the Midwest? East coast is pretty difficult.

I had such a blast at that Lunar shoot! Thanks for the pics and the video, HiroOne!

Angelalex242 - What Hiro said, she's not wearing fangs.

GhaleonOne - Anime Detour in Minnesota (March), Anime Central in Chicago (May), and Anime Iowa in, well, Iowa (August). ^^; I'll bet there are others too.

If I weren't on the East Coast I'd visit a couple of those just to say "Hi". ^^

There's Anime Central in Chicago. You may also want to take a peek at http://www.animecons.com -- it's basically the uber listing of all the cons in the US.

If we had a conceptual Lunar group cosplay going to one specific con I'd be willing to travel by flight to any US con. I'd love to see a re-enactment of the pic on lunar-net's Otakon 2004 cosplay section.

Eh, as fun as those have to be, even if the con was right next to my house I couldn't go. Too much to do. Though if everyone does decide to get together at one, be sure to take pictures and yadda yadda.

Personally, I'd like to know where all the Portland/Seattle cons are.

Oh, sure, there's probably cons down in San Fransisco or Los Angeles, but it's too far south for me.

You're all complaining for few states between. I live in Central Europe, with plane tickets for like 600$. Well, my mom does live in US, so I go there pretty much every summer...
