Oh, sure, there's probably cons down in San Fransisco or Los Angeles, but it's too far south for me.
There's Sakuracon in Seattle :D

I always thought about doing Anime Central, but this year is unlikely. With a Europe trip in early June, and my work being really dumb about even getting enough time off to make that worthwhile, I don't know if I could pull off a day or two off in May. I'd like to, but mainly just to meet people though. I've never even been an anime fan. A fan of the artwork style, but I never really watched it.

Heh, maybe, I'm still not sure if I can go to that one or not. I'm hoping to, though. ^^

And because I can, have a pic of all the Lunar folks together. <3

Don't blame me, Lucia promised me lots of snuggles and cuddles if I would be her PR guy.

Cake will be provided. It'll even be blue cake, so it matches your hair. ;)

Pfft, real cake is for lazy wimps. Real tough and unlazy folks ARE the cake! I mean, this *is* cosplay after all... right?

HiroOne - I was waiting for someone to say that. :P

Angelalex242 - Mmm, blue cake. <3

phyco126 - Cosplayers need to eat too!

Also, I figured I'd go ahead and post this as well. The Lunar ladies had a private photoshoot at the con and here are the photos!

The blue cake does what it must.

It gets me snuggled by bluehaired deities.

Thats just it though. If it is a cosplay event, then somebody would just dress up as the cake. :D Cannabilism, don't dis until you try!

I'm in the process of finishing my Hiro costume. I just need to make a better cuff for the left sleeve. As well as making a boomerang, which I don't know how to do.

I agree. Fantastic all the way.

And I might actually start over on Hiro. I want to find a thicker fabric.

Will do. I was making the first Hiro costume and it had me thinking. I thought that maybe I should start over and use a thicker fabric that will hold up well and be more fitting to the character since he's an adventurer after all.

Sorry to double post, especially since no one has replied in this thread for a while (don't crucify me)

I'm here because I wanted to show my Hiro cosplay.

Well, the rules are that it's fine to double post on old topics if you have anything new to add. I'd say this definitely qualifies. The quality of the photo's not so great, but, the costume looks good from what I can tell!

Other folks here went to ACen if I'm not mistaken. Did you run into anyone on the boards? KF

I was there, but didn't see you. I did see another Hiro, a Nall in human form, and Alex and Luna. (I have a pic of them, which I'll share if I can get it off my phone) Lunartic was almost certainly not there, given here absence from the front row of the Vic Mignona show. (as far as I could tell, anyway.)

Good weekend, tho. I'll add some more to my thread about it in the art section...
