Well...

what would all of you think if there was a digital card game based off of Lunar?

If it sounds good... I may try and put together some card designs and see what you think.

If it sounds bad... then report this to GhaleonOne.

Well... I'll have a few designs up in about a day or two.

If anyone has ideas of their own, speak up. Just include a picture of a card design you'd like.

Here's my 4 kinds of cards:

1. Character
2. Skill
3. item
4. Field

Please don't repost; I could have just moved the topic.

I went ahead and merged the two.
If it sounds bad... then report this to GhaleonOne.
What's there to report? KF

Well... It was actually going to be like the field spells of yu-gi-oh!

Kizyr: In case there was one already made.

Well, even if there was, there wouldn't be anything to 'report'.

The closest thing would be the "card" collectibles in Lunar: Legend that you could trade between GBAs, and then the card battling you had in Lunar: DS. I never got to play the latter, since I don't personally know anyone else who actually picked up Lunar: DS (can't blame them, heh).

Anyway, I think it's a real good idea. I don't play any card games, so I wouldn't be interested personally. But, some kind of free digital card game might go over well and get a lot of other people interested. KF

Right now i'm trying to figure out what to put in the base set.
I've thought of just using the silver star story and eternal blue for the base set and going from there.

I'm also a little stumped on the design for the Character Cards. Is there a preference for every body?

Do you guys have any ideas that would help?

Here's a Prelim design for the character cards

Left: Character
Right: Deck Leader

This is a question for GhaleonOne:
If you're interested, you have any ideas as to what the five rarest cards should be?

5 rarest cards? I'm not G1, but...

Make the strongest cards rarest.

Lucia w/Althena's Power
Althena
Zophar
Ghaleon
Dragonmaster (This should be an enhancement card to another character (Dyne, Jian, Alex, Ignatius...)

This sounds really awesome, I'd be interested in playing when it's complete. I didn't get too deep into Yugioh but I did play a bit because of a friend of mine. I've played Magic before too and I actually love to play the ps3 game Culdcept.

But I digress, I'll be looking forward to seeing more progress on this project :) Good luck!

angelalex: Lucia's already part of the base set and the power of althena is one of her skills.

PrettyGirlJean: Thanks for the compliment.

I'm basing the base set off of the original silver star and eternal blue.
Why am i not surprised you'd want lucia as the rarest card?

Sorry, gotta ask.

If this were made into a flash game, which would sound better to learn the basics from?

original character: Learn from alex who is teaching luna how to play.

Or

Alex or Luna: Learn from a robot built for that purpose.

If you're going to post that frequently, would you please not double-post and, instead, edit your previous post? Thanks. KF
