Lately I've noticed people expressing a preference for the TSS battle theme over the SSS one, and also I listened to the music in Lunar DS for the first time in years and remembered how remarkable it is. That's when I asked myself, 'would I rather have the Lunar DS battle song in place of the SSS one'? I think I would. But wouldn't it be more fun to open the question to other overlooked/underrated songs? Assuming that TSS and EB are the top 2, (and thus excluded) what is best liked out of the remainder? I've forgotten what the MS and DS songs are, so I'll listen when I get home. I've always considered EB's to be significantly lesser than TSS's, though. Maybe it's just the orchestration, but it just never seemed to have all that much punch to me.

I voted for SSSC. I liked it, I don't see anything wrong with it. I never really enjoyed the music of DS and I thought WS was cool but that was because I've never heard it before.

Lunar DS, which I actually kinda like.
MSL sounds ok, SSSC is just terrible.

The only game of those three that I have played is SSSC, so that is virtually the battle theme of my life. Having mentioned that, I watched all three videos. The DS song is good, but just doesn't sound like a great "battle theme" to me...i just don't think I would like to hear DS's battle theme for every battle...a little too dramatic for me.
My vote went to Magic School, surprisingly.

I'm siding with SSSC on this one, though I will admit that DS had an okay soundtrack.
Also, MS wasn't much of a slouch, either.

I liked the battle theme from SSSC. I liked the victory theme even better.
