This is just to see who your favorite character is. Exceptions include Alex, Luna, Hiro, Lucia, Zophar,and Ghaleon.

That's an odd list...Mauri is on it but not Leo, Nash, Lemina, or Kyle?

Well my favorite Lunar character period is Ghaleon. But I would have to say I really like Jessica and Kyle, followed by Alex and Luna. I tend to like couples more than individual characters. I guess that's a little weird. Ghaleon is the only one that stands out above the rest to me though.

For sake of the poll though I chose Jessica.

Well, I voted on Ruby, she may be annoying at times but she keeps little humor going and plays a somewhat important role in the game.

When I first saw the topic, I thought you were talking about NPCs. Any person I play for most of the game (or oppose for that amount of time) I'm going to consider main. Along those criteria I'd say... Dyne/Laike, or maybe Grandpa Gwyn. They were... real for me. Tough to say more than that. I also like imagining how Gwyn was when he was younger (drawn by someone in one post) and especially Dyne. Oh, and maybe Tempest too. I could keep adding...

Understanding the simple exceptions as you list them... I lean toward Mia and Jean. I'll cut off here before I add any more.

Well, you play Laike and Tempest, albeit only for one dungeon each.

I was thinking Fresca myself. I don't know why, but I just always liked her, even though we see very little of her.

I kind of agree with everyone else in going "...Jean, Ruby, Ronfar et al, not main characters?" But if you're using that classification, then Lemina, closely followed by... pretty much everyone else in EB/EBC. It's a rare story for me in that I actually fell in love with pretty much all of the characters over the course of playing it; usually I'll like one or two characters deeply and not really feel much for the others, but in EB everyone felt real and everyone's stories appealed to me. I'm unsure how much love Lemina gets in fandom (it's really kind of hard to tell... she seems to get neglected a lot, but some people do seem to really like her), but in any case, it's not enough.

Or rather, it's not deep enough; I think she's more three-dimensional than a lot of people give her credit for, and I like exploring what she's like behind all the bounciness and comic-relief stuff.

Alas, my vote is an Other, because Nash is not on there. He's a bit of a pompous jerk in some ways, but he's a lot more complicated than most of the others (at least in TSS).

I'm not sure why I like him so much, but I guess as an eight year old playing SSSC for the first time, a flying kitty with wings really appealed to me. XD So he's been my favorite ever since. I'm his self-proclaimed #1 fangirl. XD

OMG... wath a tough question... i mean... i like them all!!! well Kyle... cause he is a tough guy with light personality.... Mia... the nice and cute girl... Lemina... ohhh beautiful :wink:

... Ronfar... ( i think of him as a mix between Jessica and Kyle =P ) and all the others have a quality that makes them special... but finally my vote was for Jessica... her personality and charisma.... makes her one of my favorites characters... i mean... she's really cute... she maybe be hard on the outside but she's clearly soft on the inside (her love for kyle and her dad shows that) and well i simply love her

One thing I remember REALLY hoping for in SSSC was an addition of Fresca as a playable character. I really think they could have done something with that, possibly having Fresca Jessica and Mia go into the cave after Alex Nash Kyle and Tempest.

That would have been awesome. I can't find the ref, but I'm pretty sure someone also referred to her as being one of their strongest warriors -- possibly in that she went to the cave alone initially. And, of course, in TSS's storyline it could have just as well been the girls who went after the seal while the guys stayed home sick, since nothing related to dragonmasterhood was involved.

It's all right, polls like this are usually way more about discussion in the posts themselves than about the actual voting at the top...but you really shouldn't start threads if you don't have time to think them through carefully.
