NiGHTS Port

So in honor of the 15th Anniversary of NiGHTS into Dreams this July, my friends over at
http://www.nightsintodreams.com are trying to get the game ported into a next gen console. They've been campaigning long and hard, trying to get fans to show their support so that SEGA will hopefully port the game for us. If you're a fan of NiGHTS and would like to see the game ported, all you have to do is go to this site:

And click the button on the page!
(Even if you're not a fan, it wouldn't hurt to go click the button for good measure anyway... xD)

I did my part and clicked... I would love to have Christmas NiGHTS included with it. Glad to see SEGA is updating Guardian Heroes from the Saturn and NiGHTS needs to be released again. One of my old favorites.

Seeing as NiGHTS was the only game I owned on the Sega Saturn aside from Sonic R, I had to press the button. It was such a fun game.

Just a quick note, it WAS re-released on Playstation 2 in Japan. It's possible that release could be put on Playstation Network.

Yeah, we know of the Japanese PS2 re-release. We thought it an injustice that North America/Europe didn't get it as well.
That would be awesome if it showed up on the Playstation Network.

I threw my vote in there I would love to see a remake of NiGHTS, I should probably get around to beating the original first. I never played the christmas version was it the same levels with a christmas theme or was it a completely different game?

I believe it's just a Christmas theme. The characters have Christmas inspired outfits, the levels have snow, the music is remixed with bells and similar holiday tones... I don't think there are any major changes to the story, but I haven't played the Christmas version myself. I've always wanted to check into it though.
