Not so much tangible, but my best friend came into town for Christmas and didn't have anything going on after the Christmas Eve service at church last night. He came over and we stayed up playing Zelda and Wii Sports practically all night long. It's been probably 6-7 years since I did that. We had another buddy over, and beat the last two dungeons to finish Zelda last night. Needless to say, I am WIPED out. And I have to be up for work at 7 tomorrow. I'm going to bed.

Well I hope everone gets love from there Familys but topics like this most time mean Tangible things >,>JWL wrote:The love and brotherhood of my parents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
But if you want something tangible as an answer, I got some great black slacks and socks. Uh, I think I might be getting old.

Well... as far as things that I got today go, I'd say the Wii and Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess were the best things I got. As far as Christmas presents I didn't get today but some time earlier go, I'd have to say... the Westie puppy we got a week or so ago (Which explains... some... of my absence here. Hey, a puppy has to play, you know!).

Got a pendant from my parents-in-law in the shape of a small clock with a pendulum with a ruby on the end of it. Funny timing because just yesterday I was saying to my husband that I liked rubies and would like to get one sometime, but I don't think he had anything to do with the necklace. The pendant was part of his maternal grandfather's inventory; he was a jeweler. (Other items I got include a set of various scented bath stuff and a box of candy, also from my in-laws.)
I don't actually celebrate the holiday myself, but I have to admit that even if I did it would probably be kind of sober; my own maternal grandfather passed away on Christmas of last year so this is the first one without him. I should probably go give my grandmother a call...
I also got to visit Nintendo of America last week and bought a bunch of stuff from their store, so I guess that was kind of my gift to myself.

True test of love is if someone come to the Past *this time* and had Lunar 3
Would you forsake your familys love for Lunar 3?

I'm split in between The Riverside Chaucer, which apparently has all of his works (I've been spot-poring over it with gleaming eyes), and my digital camera.

twilight princess for the gamecube. FF12 for the ps2.
i mean, i knew i was getting them. i had a very brief christmas list. but i feel a bit guilty about asking for them. they are time-wasting toys, not practical at all, and i'm supposed to be devoting my time to certain projects i have going. and there are things i needed that i chose not to ask for.
but--ZELDA--
sigh.

I was rather pleased to get some new clothes and a bunch of DS games (as I didn't really have any) though I think I was happier being with the family that I don't get to see so often than with all the presents (don't get me wrong, presents are awesome but family time was greater.). Wii sports has claimed the whole family!! =P

My christmas celebration was actually on Christmas Eve, but... I sort of liked it. A pair of adorable tiger slippers (My brother complains about how much better they are than his Panther ones), a comfortable bath robe and my favorite comedy movie, White Chicks... Oh and since I celebrated with my two brothers, his wife, and the wife's mother, we had a German Christmas and let me tell you... I received WAY too much chocolate ^_^.
