You can just take some kleenex and wipe it from the center outward. If you're lucky, it's just a speck of something or other stuck on the surface not letting it load properly. If the disk itself is actually defective, you might be able to order another one from WD; but that would take a while to wait to mail it out and receive a new one. KF

Storage capacity and price happened to carts. And really, similiar problems can happen with carts. If the internal battery goes out in it, you're screwed and have to replace it and start your game over. Not cool with RPGs.

The problem is scratches. How do I get rid of them?

Oh that's easy if you live near a used video game place you can go there and they'll clean your disc for you. I think they charged me $5 to clean my Lunar disc.
err hope that helps.

Though if you are playing on a PS2 you could change the speed to fast and that might work.

I fixed my copy, and completely wasted Zophar. All of my characters were 51, and all I had to do rally was use white dragon protect, triple sword, catastrophie, and blue dragon palm.

All who had trouble on this boss (level 50 or above) really don't have any skill playing this game. I just finished the epilougue, got EVERYTHING in the game, and managed to hit level 70 with each character.

Well that was my second time through I wanted to see how low a level I could be and still deafeat Zophar first time through I was level 65 when I killed him they should hve made Zophar harder to deafeat that time.

What skill is there in levelling besides noting which monsters give the most EXP for the least effort? If anything, it's more impressive to succeed at lower levels, as more strategy and survival is required.

Which is why on my second time through I was lvl 45

Yeah, I'm gonna agree with Alunissage on that one.

Although it can also be fun to power-level and see how fast you can defeat some bosses. Just sayin.

I'm dealing with the same problem...except its from disc one to disc two....all of the discs are clean and work. It's just that when you have to transfer discs nothing happens.
