Re: Finally beat it.

Haha, you see, I have no further interest in narrowing the divide between Alunis and myself. Everything I say or do is met with derision from her, no matter what it is. Does she put her disagreement nicely or even try to work out a middle with me? No, of course not. I'm just wrong about everything ...

Re: Finally beat it.

The Frontier being reachable on foot is hilarious enough on its own. Also Alun doesn't seem to particularly like either one of us so I don't know where you're getting that she'd be less critical of it had I linked it. Either way you aren't doing yourself any favors by furthering the divide bet...

Re: Finally beat it.

It doesn't fit in with Lunar's story, though. In fact, it commits several continuity violations that directly go against what Silver Star, Eternal Blue, and even Walking School all say. I started it but was entirely too bummed out by the time I finished the first "chapter". Can I get a qu...

It's not like anyone needs help ripping on this game. It's like taking a jab at religion....too easy.

Thanks. Speaking of Kyle, there was also his somewhat Beavis & Butthead moment when he laughed at "strong wood"

Re: Finally beat it.

IK, I believe I transcribed about 90% of the dialogue when I was playing it in English a couple of years ago. I still have a dungeon or three to go, but if at some point you'd like to read through the content I can send you my notes. Someday I'll return to them and finish them and then maybe format...

That's the way it seems sometimes. Being a great public speaker is great at first but people begin to wise up when they don't see results and realize it's a bunch of talk.

Re: The Trans-Pacific Partnership Treaty

Considering that this site is the official site for Dragon Song, I would assume LunarNet has a friendship/relationship of sorts with Game Arts and would get left alone in the ordeal.

It wasn't a rubber band like you're thinking of. It was that rubber band-like stuff that's in the top of socks to keep them in place.

Hey, some of us don't have...never mind. Anyway, would you mind trimming down the quotes when you're quoting rather than just bolding what you're replying to? There are options. I once popped my ex on the clit with a rubber band while she wasn't paying attention. And no, I wouldn't mind that....

Re: Nall Plush on eBay

Considering how well done and presented pretty much everything Lunar related generally is, I'm surprised that the plush Nall is so...halfassed. It reminds me of when I was little and I wanted a TMNT blanket and my grandmother decided to make me one herself.

Considering how tied up the rights to Lunar are, I'd have no qualms uploading everything on the disc to the internet.

Re: Finally beat it.

The main thing I wonder about it is if they had anyone at all that had experience with battle mechanic design. Dungeon design was pretty OK and the two battle modes could've worked, but I can't imagine how the two modes AND the random targeting (the biggest WTF I have ever seen in a game) AND flyin...

Re: What Are You Currently Playing?

FF6 is the best Final Fantasy. My favorite is 4 but 6 is definitely better. I'd place 9 as my third favorite. The thing is...Lunar has soul. Final Fantasy just never captured that sort of magic. I can't explain it.

Re: Magic?

I pretty much only used Chance Dice, just because it's kind of fun to see what will happen. I've mentioned here once or twice that it once was the only way I won a battle. It was in the Illusion Woods just before getting to the carnival, so I only had Hiro and Ronfar in the party (Lucia was either ...
